Lucky Alley is a good place for a hearty breakfast. Restaurant is clean and airy but can be very packed in the mornings as many old folks hang out after marketing. We tried :- 1) Penang Mee Yoke @ RM8 - pretty authentic and vserving is rather generous. Also, it c/w 2 mid-sized fresh prawns. 2) Ginger scallion pork rice set from Ah Wah siew chao @ RM8 - Full of wok-hei and the portion is just ok. 3) Curry laksa @ RM7 - curry broth is good and one have the option to add freshly made YTF to the standard serving which c/w long beans, fried beancurd roll, beancurd puff and fresh cockles. The busiest stall! 4) Hong Kong fish paste noodle @ RM6 - ordered with lai fun and the fish paste is bouncy and fresh. broth is good too. same stall as curry laksa. 5) Pan mee @ RM6 - pan mee is thin and smooth. Broth is very flavorful (not msg kinda flavorful). Anchovies a little off as it is not crunchy enough on every visit. Accompanying chili sauce is not bad too. 6) Pan yee mee + egg @ RM7 (same as above but with yee mee & additional raw egg makes the broth richer) Service with a smile from all vendors. Opens everyday (breakfast to late lunch/unless the coffee shop owner decided to go for yearly holidays) There's steam fish and siew chao in the evenings.

Came for brunch on a Sunday. Went for "Allan fish paste noodles stall". This is the last curry bowl available at 11.30am, phew! Still taste as good as before. If you are looking for a less creamy style of curry noodles, try this. It's good to the last drop. The stall is also famous for its fish paste noodles and yong tau foo. Operated by an old couple who has been there for more than 30 years. This stall is located in the original coffee shop. The owner of the coffee shop has expanded over to the neighbour shop. There is also a famous roast chicken/meat rice stall at the new section. Havent tried that yet, will update next.

Lots of choices here for a hearty and delicious meal. The restaurant covers 2 shoplots and even the alley in between is used for seating space. I pop by here numerous times to try the food from different stalls and so far, they are all very tasty. Parking may be an issue but if you are willing to walk a bit, there are always parking spaces in the meat block of shoplots.

Spacious, SOP friendly. Great service. This Sam Kang Chong noodle is as close to the original, in Jln Silang, KL, presently the Chaya Suria building. Noodles with black sauce, fragrant sausage, and flat pork ball. Bring back memories of the past, eating with my late father. It's fateful to the original taste, a descendant that got it right. Other imitation are off the mark....
