Food: Steam Dim Sum 3 🌟

This place overall serves cheaper dim sum than most places I know in KL.

Overall there's about 10-15+ steam options and 5+ fried options. There's also Porridge, Bao, Lo Mai Kai, Steam Cheong Fun. Nothing much to shout about.

The quality can be lacking (frozen meats, more fat, etc) and also they steam the dim sum over and over again so some dim sum that wasn't taken by people and they reheat it eventually the skin will rather wet/flabby. Suggest to arrive earlier to avoid this.

A few weeks back the holiday I saw a long line of 30+ people queueing and there's also Internet Celebs recording video so I guess it got viral recently so better avoid coming for a while. Even though it's cheaper than average, I don't think it's worth to wait long...

I arrived at the well-known dim sum shop on Sunday morning at 10am. Despite the long queue, I waited around 30 minutes to get a table. The wait wasn't uncomfortable thanks to the shade from the trees and pleasant weather.

One interesting aspect of this place is that customers don't rush to leave after finishing their meals. Many stay to enjoy tea and chat, which I find quite nice as I had a good conversation with friends after eating.

The staff is approachable and provides quick service. The food portions are similar to other dim sum shops, but I found the wu kok (fried yam) to be particularly nice, and the har gao (prawn) and siu mai fresh and satisfying.

After filling our stomachs, the bill was pleasantly reasonable, which I believe is why there’s always...

This dim sum spot is a popular choice among locals for its affordability and wide selection.

Arriving at 8am, we found a queue forming, so be sure to line up and avoid standing near occupied tables.

Once seated, trays of assorted dim sum are brought to you, allowing you to choose your favorites. Usual items include siu mai, hao gao, chicken feet, and deep-fried lobak cake. Do get a pot of Chinese tea instead of ice cold coffee when you have dimsum.

Overall, taste is AVERAGE. Don’t have much flavour in the food.

Unlike other dim sum restaurants, they don't offer egg tart, custard bun, or custard salted egg bun. All dishes are served hot and the service is quick.

Their accept cash or Touch N Go payment.

I'll definitely return here whenever I'm...
