Every time I step into Trio Café, I feel like I’m walking into a new chapter of their story. They’ve done it again — a fresh theme, a new vibe, and you can tell this team never stops working hard to keep things exciting for their neighbourhood crowd.

Today’s indulgence was a trio of delights: the soufflé, egglette, and tiramisu. The soufflé was impossibly fluffy, almost cloud-like with every spoonful. The egglette hit the opposite note — crisp, golden, and addictive, the kind of texture that keeps you reaching for another bite. And then the tiramisu sealed the deal: rich, creamy, and authentically layered, reminding me of why this Italian classic never goes out of style.

What stands out even beyond the menu is the team’s warmth. Super friendly, attentive without being pushy — they genuinely make you feel like part of the café family. Plus, for those who worry about logistics, parking is surprisingly easy around lunch hours — a small but important win for OUG cafés.

Takeaway: Trio Café isn’t just about food; it’s about consistency in reinvention. If you’re nearby, treat yourself to their soufflé and tiramisu combo, and soak in the vibe they’ve worked hard to refresh. A neighbourhood gem that proves effort and heart can be tasted...

Had lunch at the newly opened The Trio Caffe in OUG, and it was such a great experience! This cafe offers a wide range of drinks, including some with fancy names, along with Western dishes, breakfast options, Malaysian delights, and desserts.

The food was served quickly and arrived hot, which was great. I had their nasi lemak, and it was delicious—the crispy, huge fried chicken was perfectly cooked, and the anchovies were super crunchy. The sambal was dry and spicy, just the way I like it. Their homemade baked cheesecake was also a standout, so creamy and fresh!

For drinks, I tried the cucumber sparkling, which was incredibly refreshing. It’s the perfect drink for a hot day.

The menu is extensive, and there are so many dishes and drinks I want to try. I’m already planning my next visit to explore more options!

The crew here were friendly, helpful, and polite, making the experience even better. Parking is easy and convenient, with lots of roadside spaces nearby.

Highly recommend this place for anyone in the OUG area looking for a cozy spot with great...

Found this place via a blog post. Charming cafe in Happy Gardens. Plenty of street side parking. Wasn't busy on a weekday night. A bit pricey. Friendly staff.

They have an interesting fusion menu. We ordered their rosti royale & chicken pesto pasta. Pasta was decent with tender chicken slices but not herbaceous enough being pesto. The rosti was a nice take on the dish but rather small portion for the price. The sausage was good with a nice bite to it. We also did share a tiramisu cake which was yummy. Good balance of coffee, cream & biscuit. Not too sweet.

To wash it all down we tried 2 items from their extensive drink menu. One was the mango & passion fruit yogurt drink which was refreshing & not overly sweet. The other from the mystery box option which ended up being a strawberry matcha drink. Good blend of flavors that you can taste both, not overpowering one another. A good choice.

It was an okay meal. Wouldn't mind trying their lunch sets which are reasonably priced. However they do have a high price point for the main menu which doesn't...
