Today is the 1st time I brought my parents to Madam Kwan's Pavilion Bukit Jalil 1st floor near centre of the mall. We indeed have no idea of where to have our lunch, so happened that we see Madam Kwan, I decided to try this branch at Pavilion Bukit Jalil. 1stly, as my mum has leg issue that she needs to rest her legs after walking for a distance, outside the restaurant there are chairs for waiting queue, my mum can rest a while there. Then we decided why not just have our lunch at Madam Kwan.
First impression, services are good ๐๐. All Managers and staffs working there have rendered us great services. Secondly, food is superb ๐๐. I had Char Kuey Teow which the seafood is big and fresh, the taste is really nice & have the ้ ๆฐ ๐๐ค. If you are a small eater, the 1 plate is actually enough for 2 persons sharing. My dad had nasi lemak, he said the rice is great ๐. My mum had mixed appetiser for sharing, the fried wonton is really yummy especially goes with the white dressing source. We also had the sambal prawn petai, we love this dish ๐ ๐. The fried kankung is another good one, the vegetable is fresh, the taste is just nice. All meals portion is big, worth to pay the price. We did not go for any special drink, just simple Chinese tea. Wow ! this is another surprise ๐. The Chinese tea is not like those diluted and no "tea" taste Chinese tea, this restaurant Chinese tea makes you know that you are really drinking "genuine" Chinese tea ๐ฅฐ.
Come to ambience, it's really nice and cosy. Regardless of the sofa seat or the normal chair sitting, both are equally comfortable. Furthermore, I realise that each table has a real Rose flower for decoration, not fake one ya ๐. I personally keen to look at the interior design and decoration for whichever place that I go to, I spotted that this restaurant has a very nice lighting. The air conditioning is just right, not cold & not warm. Furthermore, the restaurant does not have any cooking or oily smell.
Overall we are very satisfied with our lunch today at Madam Kwan Pavilion Bukit Jalil, after almost 5-8 years that I have not visited this restaurant for long. I strongly recommend to try this Madam Kwan restaurant at Pavillion Bukit Jalil. For me & my parents, for sure we will be coming back here again ๐๐๐. Thanks to the Manager and staffs there for the great services and all the good food today, good job & keep it up ๐โ๏ธ
P.S.: I did not take any pictures for food & drink, because I am not the type of "Camera Eat First" ๐. I am very hungry today that I must eat first, hahaha ๐๐. I just snapped picture for the 1 lighting in the restaurant that I...

My recent dining experience at Madam Kwanโs in Pavilion Bukit Jalil was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I stepped in, I was welcomed with warm smiles and attentive service, particularly from Didie, who made the entire experience memorable.
The ambiance of the restaurant strikes a perfect balance between casual and elegant, making it a great spot for both family gatherings and a relaxed meal with friends. The menu offers a wide variety of Malaysian classics, but two dishes stood out during my visit: the banana fritters and the sago gula Melaka.
The banana fritters were simply divineโcrispy on the outside with a soft, sweet interior that was perfectly complemented by the rich, creamy ice cream served alongside. It's a dessert that hits all the right notes, bringing back nostalgic flavors with a modern twist.
The sago gula Melaka was another highlight, with the sago pearls cooked to perfection and the gula Melaka syrup adding a deep, caramel-like sweetness that was balanced by the creaminess of the coconut milk. Itโs a dish that showcases the best of Malaysian dessert offerings.
But what truly elevated the dining experience was the exceptional service provided by Didie. Attentive without being overbearing, Didie made sure that every detail of our meal was taken care of, from recommending dishes to ensuring we had everything we needed. Itโs rare to find such dedication and passion in service, and it certainly made our visit to Madam Kwanโs all the more enjoyable.
In conclusion, Madam Kwanโs at Pavilion Bukit Jalil offers a wonderful dining experience with delicious food and top-notch service. If you visit, be sure to ask for Didieโyouโll be in...

I walked in before 7 pm for 13 pax, (my friendโs family back from overseas that we had not met for 9 years) we were told that we had to split into two tables, with one table having 3 guests between our two tables. I agreed to the arrangement but requested to one of the staff (a woman in a black uniform - not sure if she's one of the manager) that we wanted to move and combine tables once the 3 guests left, and she replied with okay.
(RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE Incident) We then started our meal and around 7:40 pm when the guests seated between us left and I informed the same woman in a black uniform that we wanted to move and combine the tables, she replied to me in a loud voice, โehh you tak rasa susah ke? Dah makan nak lagi pindah? ehh I tak akan tolong you pindah, you kena pindah sendiri.โ
I then replied (polite tone) to her that no problem weโre fine to move ourselves, and I repeated twice terima kasih while she cleaned up the table for us but she didnโt look at me and just ignored me.
*I have no intention to post this comment but after a few days, I feel that I have to voice out (not sure if the management hears it or not) as I think Madam Kwan as a brand represents our Malaysian cuisine, their hospitality should be improved and present a good impression for foreigners.
I will definitely visit to Madam Kwan again and introduce to my overseas friends and relatives on Malaysian cuisine, as I trust our Malaysian hospitality are mostly friendly and...
