OLDTOWN White Coffee @ Sri Rampai — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

This Old town white coffee restaurant is the same as its other branches located at the shop lot area where it is at the corner lot, so the view of the shop is the same. The inside ambience is spacious, nice & feel good. There is also washroom in the restaurant which is very convenient. Coming to the food, as usual their kaya butter toast is our favorite too. As they mentioned that now with more butter, yes it comes with more butter, it is super delicious. We also ordered egg toast (which taste like french toast) & served with kaya dip - it is yummilicious. And we ordered their golden nuggets for the kid, which is too good, different from other nuggets that we have tasted. It is flavourful, crispy & juicy and every bite made u crave for more. My kid love it. For the drink, we ordered their signature old town white coffee, enriched chocolate & honey lemon. Our bad day the coffee & choc drink were very thick & bitter. I have sipped a way tastier white coffee from their other branches & yummy choc drink from other restaurant. Thus we had to request for sugar syrup to balance the taste. Otherwise, it was a good experience dining here & the food were all good, just that its a bit expensive. We will repeat our dine here...

Haven't eaten at OWC for a long time. Rumours that prices are high, I am of the opinion that the price could have been more competitively priced. I ordered the whole leg crispy fried chicken with drink ...set price Rm 28+. The whole leg crispy fried chicken was indeed crispy...but the chicken that was on my plate was very small..a scrawny piece of chicken ..

We only ordered 1 set, while my son ordered something else, so I had no idea if I'm just unlucky to get a small piece ...or all pieces are of this size...I don't know.

The staff are friendly and courteous.

But the fact that I'm there on a weekend night at 7.30pm, at a location that has ample parking ..but with only 6 customers including those at my table says it all.

In fact the total staff seem like double the number of customers.

In summary, I used to like eating at OWC. I still do...but in my opinion, the menu prices do not justify the...
