Went here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Ambiance is good, very chill and relaxing. Ordered iced kopi and it’s pretty good. Not sure what they added in but it taste a bit salty.
Toasted bread is nice too but the kaya and butter portion is not that much. Expecting much more since they charged RM4.50 for this kaya and butter toast bread. One thing I couldn’t get it was, why would you expect customer to apply the kaya and butter themselves when they already paid for it.
Nasi lemak is kinda disappointing though. The rice itself isn’t fragrant as you would expect from a nasi lemak and I find the rice a tad bit wet. Their ayam goreng be rempah is kinda meh as well. Not enough spices and the chicken isn’t that fresh. Sambal is underwhelming too as I couldn’t taste any spiciness and sweetness, just tasted salty.
Overall I would say their kopi and bread is okay but I would give their nasi lemak a pass next time. Perhaps try their other offerings would be a better choice.
Pricing wise, it’s a bit high for a kopitiam. Expect to pay RM20+ per pax.

Read moreService has to improve it was really bad. We wrote down our orders and rang for the waiter to collect our order no one came. Some one came when we rang the second time. We ordered half boiled eggs, steamed bread and a plate of char kway teow. Took a while for the food to arrived. First to arrive was the drinks, the eggs and bread. We ate the eggs and the bread, then waited for the char kway teow...and waited...and waited! Then we noticed the table nearby, who came later than us received their plate of char kway teow. We rang the ringer to get the waiter's attention. Nobody came, we waited the secind time. Finally, someone came and a few minutes later the char kway teow arrived. No apologies, no explaination that the kitchen missed our order etc... look we know you are busy, and it was almost full but learned from others restaurants that are as busy or even busier ones like Nanyang ot Oriental kopitiam. Their service are so much better, not...
Read moreRather meh overall. The nasi lemak ayam goreng berempah is very expensive for what it is - Rm13.90. it is just a basic nasi lemak with 1 fried chicken. The chicken is tender but very bland even though it is "Berempah".This same dish would be half the price at the nasi lemak maybank place or about ~Rm10 in most other places. The sambal is also disappointing. Very red and oily but no heat/spicy (pedas) at. Not exaggerating when i said no heat.
The wholemeal hainan toast (Rm4) is also rather annoying. They sandwiched 2 slices of bread and toasted them together. So, the outside is toasted but instead is steamed. Not what i want when i asked for toast, and not the steamed bread. Side note, they provided the butter and kaya on the side. That's okay for those who might be more particular about the amount of kaya or butter.
The Kopi (Rm3) is just meh. On the milder side.
3/10. Would...
