Real Penang — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Tried you guys out few years back. Ordered some typical Penang Dishes and I must say your food is no where near Penang. Today I walked pass and decided to give you another try so I decided to take away the most simplest dish which is Salted Fish Fried Rice. Came home with all excitement open up the container and dish in the salted fish fried rice and Im Telling you now the fried rice is WET. If can't maintain the standard of Penang Food don't la go claim yourself Penang Food. (REAL PENANG IT SEEMS) Damn Sia Sui to Penang People. I think in Penang I take 1 stone and close my eyes throw at any hawker for a Salted Fish Fried Rice also better than what I just had from your shop. If you guys just want to leave it to the foreigners to be your chef and everything, better don't open la. How on Earth a Myanmar or Bangladesh worker knows the authentic taste of Penang FOOD. Joined the family for dinner at Real Penang and had a real Penang food experience! Ordered the char kuey teow as this for me is the real test on how good the Penang taste will be. Wife ordered the prawn mee to see how good they are. I was asked if I wanted duck egg or chicken egg, first test passed. Asked if I wanted it spicy or not - really? Make it hot lah! The food came out fast and hot! Noodles cooked perfectly, nice crunch in the beansprouts and very tasty lap cheong, nicely done. Only 2 prawns but maybe I'm greedy😁. Chilli was nice but not overpowering so well balanced. Wife’s prawn mee had a rich broth, just the right amount of heat. Lovely stewed pork rib to go with the noodles, crisp young kangkong and lots of it. A LARGE juicy prawn, hard boiled egg & lots of extra sambal. Very authentic Penang Heh...

Discovered this place randomlythrough GrabFood and this place has become my family favourite ever since! This is a heaven for pork lovers like myself and my dad 🤣

All the dishes tastes really awesome flavour bombs! Definitely cannot get enough of the meat dishes! And each dishes is pretty distinct from one another too!

Best of all, during Chinese New Year of 2020, they did update on the online platform that they are open and my family did not think twice to go and celebrate there! (These photos are from back then during CNY)

This store's online engagement is definitely top notch! And in store, you will definitely be greeted by the warm and friendly staffs and owner~

All in all, it is a great experience be it online or offline with great food...
