Dropped by Santa Chapati House, Jalan Sarikei for a quick lunch and walked away feeling it wasn’t worth the price. Here’s what I had: • 3 plain chapatis • Chicken sambal • Mutton curry gravy only (no meat chunks) • 1 glass of plain water
Total damage: RM 24. For such a modest spread—especially when the “mutton curry” came without any mutton—the price felt steep.
👍 What I liked • Chapatis were fresh, warm, and nicely puffed. • Chicken sambal delivered a satisfying spicy kick.
👎 What needs work • Value for money: RM 24 is hard to justify for mainly gravy and flatbread. • Menu clarity: If the mutton curry is just sauce, say so (and price it lower). • Service was fine but nothing that added extra value to the meal.
Overall, the food tastes decent, but the cost–portion balance misses the mark. I’d think twice before returning unless the pricing—or the portion...

Their menu is not too complicated. You asked for how many piece of Chapati you need and picked the side dishes, then you sit down and eat. Pay as you leave.
Their chapati is one of the better ones you can get in KL. Most importance it is served warm. They always nice and soft. Their side dishes are also nice. Their potatoes are delicious and not spicy. Their chicken is also yummy.
If you are near here, want a fast and nice breakfast, you must come here.
Next come to the price, some said it is pricey. Maybe if compare with others, but other places, the chapati might not be as delicious.

Read moreFirst time visit here, chapati was fresh and nice. Ordered saag, masala chickpeas. The saag cost RM10, because it's a large portion, but there were only 2 of us, why does the staff automatically give us a large one. I didn't even ask for a large one. Very cunning. The staff that wrote down the "pay slip" said since I didn't help myself to the saag, then they'll charge for large portion. Meaning, if you let the staff serve you, he'll give you large portion for the side dishes? Ridiculous! Don't use this tactic to force something on your customer. The chickpeas was RM7. Chapati RM2 each. Can't even finished up the saag, too salty. Masala Chickpeas also salty. 3pcs chapati, one saag, one chickpea, dhal, cow milk masala and teh...
