I remembered in my earlier review that the floor tiles either need to be replaced or thoroughly polished. This place has now been renovated and it is absolutely pleasant and clean. The kopi C and roti bakar are good. On most occasions, I aimed for the kai si horfan (shredded chicken kuehteow soup) which is really fantastic. Current price is RM11 (big bowl) but it is comparable to the ones that you need to travel to Ipoh. On weekdays, it will most likely be sold out by 1pm. Corner shop on the block. There are a few food stalls in this shop. The Chinese mixed rice shop is quite good with lots of dishes, and good economical price. Try their fried fish and chicken, very good. There are also plenty of other meat and vegetable dishes. Service is quite fast and the lady taking care of the store works fast. Seating is quite plentiful and because it's a corner unit, the ventilation is good. There is also a store selling siew pau. Parking may be difficult...

If restoran wah yan kai hadn't closed yesterday, 12th Aug 2023..... i wouldn't have ended up in this kopitiam....i had never had a nescafe c kosong ice that cost me, rm5.....its just a very run-down typical kopitiam and its beverages surely damn expensive....elsewhere, i can easily get it for rm3.80, the most.... but this kopitiam is something else..... The wan than mee is full of dark soya sauce and it was extremely sweet in taste....no more next...
