Authentic Korean restaurant.
However, here's the reasons why you might wanna think twice before visiting this place :
The owner/ manager is rude. Being first time customer, we ve asked for bit more details, and the plum size Korean manager been very impatient and the way he answer makes us feel uneasy.
The kitchen area is messy. While heading towards the washroom, you can see there's left over pan cakes on the stove and the appetizers are unattended.
The lettuce served is not fresh, as you can see in the photo, it's bit rotten.
The side dish can only be refilled once. (Unlike many of the Korean restaurants around the area, the side dishes can be refilled many times.)
The owner or manager, is not wearing a mask, and we can see he's having runny nose when he's taking our order - as he's wiping his nose, with his hand..
After we paid the bill, they don't even bother to thank you. And it's a 2 tables night, the owner are just playing his phone and pretending not to see us.
Overall, it's not a pleasant experience dining. There are plenty other much better choices in...
Read moreI’d like to reply to the 3⭐️ review below by Choy Min Kang. I’m from the ‘noisy’ group next door. The restaurant owner did ask us to quiet down and they handled the situation well. We did lower our voices, but when celebrating 2 birthdays with good food, good service, and good drinks, there will be some cheers and joyful exchanges.
I honestly feel this hidden gem of a restaurant deserves more than 4⭐️ google rating. It’s the most authentic Korean meal I’ve had! The meat, seafood, veges are all so fresh! Tried few different soups and they all tasted distinctively good. Side dishes are more generous than most Korean restaurants and all super tasty.
Overall, if you’re looking for an authentic Korean dining experience, this is the place to go! (Even soju tastes better here cause they have a unique way of serving it - go and find out their simple yet...
Read moreSaw this shop from Facebook Reels saying it's most authentic korean food and came here to try.
Shop environment was okay. Not to say very premium. Two of us seated at general dining spot. When open menu, was a bit shocked to see the price. Price is on the high side. If remember correctly, saw it's almost RM70-100. Maybe it's normal.
We ordered bbq pork belly set (ala carte not buffet unlimited refill). Around RM35 per pax. Steam rice is RM6 per bowl.
Pork belly was served and looks very small in portion. The pork cut into thicker pieces and my wife said the meat is good. Kimchi side dish and soy bean paste soup are good. The pancake side dish was mediocre.
Maybe next round will come with more friends to try out so that can even out the price and feel less...
