We heard about the opening of the new Jin Xuan branch in Sri Hartamas and decided to give it a try on a weekday morning. Since it was a weekday and still early in the morning, we managed to find nearby parking, and the restaurant was not crowded. The restaurant is clean and comfortable with air-conditioning, and there are also a couple of tables outside in the open-air section. We were warmly greeted as soon as we entered and were promptly seated.
We ordered 9 Dim Sum items and brought our own tea, which came to a total of RM98.00 for 2 people. The food was satisfactory, consistent with their usual standards, although the Sparerib Congee was a bit bland and lukewarm on this occasion. The Fried Turnip Cake was also just okay today. The rest of the dishes were fine. The staff efficiently refilled our tea with hot water. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience, and we would definitely...
Read moreOverall: finally a place for dim sum around this area; m been there on a Saturday morning, reached there at 10+am; taken a Q number and waited for around 30mins for a outdoor table as gotta rush for a next appointment after dim sum, luckily the weather is not that hot yet. Then noticed the waiting crowd was cleared by 11am, so people who reached at this time can get table immediately, so thats would be the time to drop by on my next visit.
Food: enjoyed the dim sum as always, food standard maintained as like the other branches.
Service: ordered via QR code that make things easier, for service, not too bad at the busy condition the shop was having. Attentive enough even for a us who seated at outdoor.
Environment: typical dim sum restaurant environment, their shop is at corner lot which limited their capacity.
Price: $$$ RM200 for group of 6; moderate dim sum pricing,...

I personally enjoy their fried dim sum with what I believe is a mayonnaise sauce. Their steamed dim sum is also delicious, especially the chee cheong fun and salted egg custard buns, which are delightful when served hot.
For those who prefer not to wait in long queues, I recommend arriving early, especially on weekend mornings. When we left around 10 AM, there were already people queuing outside for tables. Additionally, if you arrive late, finding a parking space can be quite...
