Decided to try Thai Tuk Tuk which is situated in Publika, overall impression is excellent. Ambiance is fantastic with so many Thai furnishing and items. Staff here is friendly, the waiter even suggested to me the dish I should take when I was not sure. Attentiveness can be a issue here, the call bell on each table does not work. So we still need to usher and call the waiter when we wanted something. The menu options offered is quite decent with an array of dishes and drinks available. Pricing is abit on the high side though, but considering it's an authentic Thai street food restaurant.. It's excusable. The food took about 20 minutes, a bit long for an empty restaurant (one table occupied) if considering the office lunch hour rush. Food quality is decent, found the chicken rice was quite dry (fried chicken) and the ginger was cut like sausage size (annoying to bite into these) . Massaman curry was good,...

Hi I want to share from this review good options for me .. I live in public also .. I like to enjoy Thai food especially somtam papaya salad .. This is my first time review coz I m so disappointed about shop staff .always I come and take a way from there . There are many Myanmar staff working . When I come over shop I order Thai papaya salad always . But one lady I think she is cashier I don’t know her name but her hair long below shoulder I guess the girl is conversions with me so rud attitude and the way she talk to me .she look like shop owner .before I order I want more nice taste what I m request from her coz previous,my order the test really bad . But the lady answer me “if not nice we don’t know what u order we do “ she answer to me I feel so disappointed ☹️ what u order we do “ please take note from this review and need to train staff attitude...

This is the best place for freshly made and authentic tasting Som Tam, hands down. The papaya and other ingredients are crunchy and it has the right balance of all flavours. I dont think I can have som tam anywhere else now. I also tried the crabmeat fried rice which was also authentic in flavour and it was a decent portion, in fact I shared it cos it was a little too much for me. It is a little pricey for what you're paying for but it is so good. If I could also give a suggestion to the eatery, it would be to brighten up the place with better lighting. It was a little dim & gloomy.

We visited on a Friday at 6pm and it was relatively quiet but started getting really busy as we were about to leave at 8pm. Get there early if you can :-) Oh and everyone seemed to order the Tom Yum so we might try...

Had lunch in Nov 2018. My 4th visit. Added some new photos below. ++++++++ Had dinner here in Oct 2018. Overall the ambiance is casual. Good place to hang with friends. On average food will cost you around RM18 - 22 per person, not including drinks. Green curry was ok, a tad spicy for my liking. Thai tea was good. The thai pink drink was not worth it. Tasted like HL strawberry milk, unless if u like it of coz. The beef lime salad was good but the sauce confuse me. It was not lime-y at all. Ming Kam was good. Coconut ice cream was delicious. The fried chicken with onion was a let down. My pictures looked pretty bcoz i had good camera phone and blessed with lighting. Enjoy!
