I recently dined at this restaurant, and it’s a real shame because the food itself was actually decent—flavors were on point, and the dishes we ordered tasted fresh. But any good impression from the food was totally ruined by the extremely poor service—it was so unprofessional that I had to share my experience. First, let’s talk about the staff: the elderly server who attended to our table had a demeanor that was truly unbearable. It wasn’t just a lack of friendliness—his whole attitude felt dismissive and even irritable. Whenever we asked a simple question, he responded in a short, sharp tone, like we were interrupting something far more important. It made the whole dining experience tense from start to finish. Worst of all, the rush to wrap things up was rude and disruptive—and this was from the other waiting staff who handled plate-clearing. While some people at our table were still halfway through their meals, these staff members kept coming over constantly to take the plates of those who’d finished. They did ask before clearing, but they came way more times than necessary—every time they approached, it broke the calm of enjoying our food, like we were being hurried out before we’d even finished. To make it worse, before our entire table had stood up to leave, they already started pulling down the iron gate at the entrance. It felt like a blatant, unpolite push to get us gone, which was so uncomfortable. And to top it off, after we finally left, the outdoor floor was soaking wet from cleaning. We were with an elderly family member of our own, and they had to shuffle slowly, eyes fixed on the ground the whole time, terrified of slipping. It’s unbelievable they didn’t put up a “wet floor” sign or dry it properly—total disregard for safety, especially for older guests. The food was good, but service this inconsiderate? Impossible to recommend. Between the elderly server’s unpleasant attitude, the waiting staff pestering us with frequent plate-clearing, and the safety oversight outside, this place has a long way to go. I won’t be coming back, and I’d warn anyone—especially those dining with seniors—to think twice before choosing...
Read moreWe went there for late lunch. This is 1 of the must-go-to places in our itinerary during our day trip to Melaka recently. My family & I waited for more than 1 & half hours for the restaurant to reopen. When we inquire a day ahead whether restaurant is open for business, they said yes but omitted to tell us that restaurant will be closed after lunch & reopens later at 5:30pm. They saw us waiting outside & the weather was quite hot too, they gave us weird looks, we saw that there are customers inside...A young lady came to tell us they are closed & asked us to come again later at 5:30pm. We perfectly understand that your staff need to rest & we can see that you are a good employer. The point is at least made it known to your customers the time your restaurant will be closed.
They could at least invite us to wait inside but did not. We were too tired to go anywhere else as we have been walking since morning, and we walked from Jonker Street all the way to the restaurant to be met with this unexpected surprise/dismay. These were the cons we experienced from the restaurant.
The pros are the tasty food. They offer variety of Asian & Western food. We ordered set meal rice with vegetarian chicken chop (this was just average for us), black pepper lamb chop & massive breakfast. Worth to visit for the food, but please take note that the restaurant do close after lunch & reopens at 5:30pm. To be on the safe side, call them to ask before going. Restaurant should update its business hours in their business profile on Google because this is helpful to...

No photos this time but was invited here for a dinner.
Good menu selection, beautifully presented food, tastes good (but not exceptional) - even meat eaters would enjoy, adequate portion, nicely decorated place, friendly lady boss and service.
But you are paying extra for the ambiance and vibe. The food and beverage prices are on the higher side. A small cappuccino (while tasting better than many shops but again not exceptional) is RM11 - at this price I would have expected a large cup. I make coffee with premium beans myself so I roughly know the cost. Asian stir-fries cost 30%~40+% higher than other veggie restaurants.
The place and vibe costs more than the food - I would not recommend this as a regular restaurant for the average people. But if you have extra money to spend, are meeting an old friend, are celebrating special moments or bringing some tourists, or to support a vegetarian restaurant, then this place would...
