It was indeed an awful dining experience for me and my family.
Waiting time: 1.5 hours Setbacks: Wrong address on Google and FB page / POS system down / no rice during dinner hour (7pm ish) / do not support card payment Food: Average, small portion
I was recommended by a friend so I made a reservation with them via FB messenger, however they did not mention they have changed the location so we went all the way to Bukit China and were directed to Kota Syahbandar.
Menu wise, my personal experience though, it is cool to follow the trend to scan QR code for the menu, but it would be great if there are sample photos for reference because it took so much time for me to explain the food to my parents (maybe older generations are not their TA?).
At that time, a waitress came to inform us that rice is not ready and it might take 20-30 mins for rice dish. I should have left at that time, but I decided to stay, my fault.
After struggling with the menu and ready to order at the counter, I was told by the cashier to sit back with very cold attitude due to the POS system down. Waited for 10 mins and still no one approach us, I checked with the waiter if it is possible to order food manually first and they agreed. To avoid waiting too long, we even request to serve dessert and sides first, unfortunately the waiting time still unbearable and the interval of the serving time is unacceptable, my brother got his pasta after my mum finished hers and not to mention the rice dish...
Generally, it gave me a feeling that it is not ready to serve food. Although they seem to have sufficient manpower, the operation system is not up to standard, messy.
Anyway, I have to blame myself for not leaving...
ย ย ย Read moreparking is okay la, if its peak hour then its hard to find parking so u might hv to park far away then walk to the cafe. the cafe is small and cozy when you enter, it is very aesthetic and pricing is comparable with other similar cafes in the area, however, it is still quite expensive for locals. the food, i would rate it 8/10. it filld you up but make sure to check the food reviews and pictures online to make sure u know what ure ordering. the drinks are also quite good, but since they specialise in matcha, its better you order matcha drinks and desserts as they are SUPER DELICIOUS and has the right tone and depth of flavour to it. however, the other drinks are okay only, its better to order the matcha. as 3 of us went to this cafe, we had to pay a total of 10% service tax which was quite expensive considering the average meal cost for 1 person is rm35, means you hv to pay rm3.50 extra for the service tax. i dont understand why they wld charge us service tax when we hv to scan a QR code to view the menu, then walk up to the counter and self order. the only time service was provided was when the staff brought our food to the table and offered to clear our plates are provide water after the meal....this is basic service which is provided anywhere else so i dont get it why they hv to charge the service tax. other than that, the overall experience of this cafe was a 7/10 and i would reccommend to visit if youre a foody and want to try new...

Make no mistake about their ๐ง๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ ๐ง๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ ๐๐ผ๐ป; the mildly sweet marinate allows the savoury, tender and slightly charred chicken pieces to shine. Also worth mentioning the additional hint of sour from bits of candied yuzu peel fried along with onion and enoki. Could do with an onsen egg on top to boost its flavour.
The ๐ง๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ features a slightly spicy and thick truffle-infused Japanese curry over rice, along with tender yet crispy chicken chunks. The addition of egg omelette takes inspiration from omurice well known of the cuisine. Also to note, both donburis have a balanced proportion of protein to rice.
Amongst its numerous in-house desserts, the ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ is a speciality showcasing the perfect harmony between a slightly bitter matcha cake and creamy vanilla ice cream. The touch of chopped rose petals and cookie crumbs adds to the overall texture of the dessert.
The cafe also brings out its Japanese expertise with beverages ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐บ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ and ๐๐ต๐ฎ ๐๐ต๐ฎ ๐ฌ๐๐๐. Part of its Niko Neko Cha series, the former purely brings out the tea taste and aroma with a slight sweetness and gritty finish. Part of the Cha Cha Chiru series, the latter boasts a fruity and zesty yuzu punch and bits of candied fruit...
