Malacca River Cruise — Local services in Malacca

The cruise itself was not bad value as it lasted a solid 30 min but the ticket purchase experience was one to forget. Got there 7pm, all locked up and not answering calls. No signage about having to wait till close to 8pm before staff will show up, then a lady started shouting for us to queue up. Once on the boat there was NO commentary so we just enjoyed the scenery but have no idea of the history of the river or nearby buildings. Towards the end the staff asked whether anyone would like to get off for something but I could not understand a word she said, due to the surrounding noise and her heavy accent. The cruise was amazing until they prompted us to stop at a tourist attraction place. Just a disclaimer, I am not one who would give a place a very low rating/review, however, my family and I and a few other families have been stranded at the pit stop when they promised us they’ll come back to pick us up after 30-40 mins. The person in charge was given no updates hence she couldn’t give us an answer too. Called the centre with the number they gave us on the receipt and there’s no one picking up the phone too.

I am quite disappointed as I paid for service and I expected service too. If this is what I get after paying a high sum for service, then you shouldn’t have sell your service if you can’t...

The price was reasonable.RM25 for adult For better experience,I suggest for you guys to purchased the ticket at the counter evening.After purchased, you need to start que immediately.If you have purchased and plan to take a cruise later,it is not recommended because if it was raining and etc the cruise unable to operate and you will not get a refund.

Overall it was nice but perhaps if you go at night,it will be more night...
