For those who have not visited before, good to come down to immerse yourself in the crowd, food and ambience. Selling street food - korean, thai, Taiwanese and local. Ranging from mains to desserts and finger food. Do prepare cash on hand as not many vendors do accept cashless. If so, it will be their local QR code where scan and deduct the amount. Few stalls selling fresh seafood if you are a seafood lover. Do ask price upon ordering. Apart from food, you may chance upon other items as well. Do prepare a poncho if you're visiting, in case it pours. At such a crowded place, using an umbrella will not be advisable. Do visit the washroom first before coming here as it will hard to find a washroom unless you're dining in a restaurant/cafe. Got some finger food back to our hotel to consume - chicken satay, otah and paper wrapped chicken. Chicken satay -made from chicken breast and between has chicken fats and in a stick to grill. - tad sweet and dry, disappointing Otah - claimed its made from fish but if you have eaten before, its fish paste mixed with seasonings and flour. - texture wise was soft, little spicy but I've eaten better ones. - buy a few if you have not tried. Paper wrapped chicken - tender and tasty chicken thighs Definitely it has evolved over the years with most of the vendors are youngsters. Keeping up with the trend, selling hipster food and thus the tradition has somewhat lost.

I came with little expectation but turns out the variety was good. It's a long street, but at most the same shops appear twice. For juices, there is actually alot of type - mango, coconut, dragonfruit, guava, corn, red passionfruit, honey lemon etc. The skewers were abit more expensive than I thought, but at least it is cooked on the spot over the grill, not just heated then left aside. Sat is much more crowded and Sunday is significantly less packed but almost all stalls still opened. Some nice food tried: - Penang Char Kueh Teow (RM7) was super good. They also sell fried rice and loushifun. - Sand Brewed Coffee was just across the char kueh teow stall. Coffee was good! - Radish cake, option with no egg, small (RM5.50). Slightly diff from the ones I usually eat, but the portion was really big, going abit more on sweet than savoury taste. - Muar Otak (RM1.50) there were 2 stalls but I only wanted 2pcs and one of them sell individually! - Herbal Tea Egg (1 for RM2) the uncle kept manually fanning and the nice smell just flew around. Other drinks, Ramly Burger and a few other items were yummy too! For me it was easier to pack food and eat at place i staying, but the area just behind the junction big stage has some sitdown areas for the food. But majorly for the stalls operating there.
