Stayed here for one night and took the first floor room with big window and facing the main road.||To get that room with big window i had to pay extra RM20 and so i paid RM122/night which was expensive actually.||But my husband wanted to stay near the massage place, so i took the room.||||The double room is really small, with no table and place to put luggage.||The clothe hanger is set in front of the mirror and set too high to get its benefit.||Furthermore the hanger is semifixed to the rod that hang it.||||There was electrical kettle in my room, however there was no coffee or tea provided and definitely as other reviewer said, there was no spoon or at least stirrer if we want to make drinks.||||In some of the photos sent by earlier reviewers i saw toothbrush and toothpaste provided in the room. Mine did not have that.||||The space to move around inside the room is really small. Luckily the room i stayed has Kaaba direction towards the wall that has TV attached to it, so the space for praying was just ok for us. If the room has Kaaba direction in different way, then it would be difficult for Muslim to pray inside the room. This is a big deal for me and my husband.||||Otherwise the room is clean, the bed comfortable, the receptionist that i met was friendly and knowledgeable.||The toilet was quite clean and water pressure was adequate.||||More hooks are needed in the toilet because the only towel racks are hanged right above the water closet. Then it will be too crowded to hang clothes there (plus towels).||||The location was ok, but you need your own transport to go around for example to find meals and to go to shopping area.||||Wifi was provided by the hotel and FOC and the signal was good in my room.||I think smoking was allowed inside the room as ashtray was provided there.||I was lucky that no one smoked during my stay there; otherwise i would flee straight away from the hotel.||||The Exit sign at the corridor on the first floor need to be improved. It was not clearly visible from my room. One need to go to the end of the corridor and turn slightly to the right to see the 'Keluar' or exit sign. In case of fire people can go panic and could not find it.||||Breakfast is not provided in the hotel and there is no halal breakfast shop or stall that is within walking distance in vicinity of the hotel. The nearest is at Tengkera which is about two km from there. And there is no public transport serving the area.||||I don't think i will stay here again. I would prefer to stay in older hotel where room size is bigger and where real cupboard for clothes...
Read moreThis is a relatively small hotel with cozy rooms which is good enough for a night's sleep after a tiring day at Jonker Street, which is a 10 minutes drive away. Just a few doors away from the hotel is a Japanese restaurant and a well known nonya restaurant.||||For RM90 a night, each modernly designed room comes with the basic essentials; bath towel, toothbrush, soap, water heater, water flask, hair dryer and even a safe deposit box. ||||The only slight downside is the dull expressions from the reception staffs. ||||Nontheless, I would definitely be back and probably give another star if the service quality improves on my next visit. All it takes is just a...
