Thai story — Restaurant in Malacca

Jul 2025: Came again for dinner after sometime back. Ordered the fish, oyster omelet, kang Kong veg, somtam, green curry. Food still taste good n I enjoyed it. I think as with all Thai food, the MSG level should be expected as my throat did feel thirsty after dinner. Will come again but must remember to ask them to cut back or eliminate MSG.

Great Thai food especially their steam fish. The sauce was awesome. More like soup. Sourish, sweet n spicy. We drank all up. When dipped with the egg omelette, it was heavenly. Would definitely come again. Service could improve slightly by being more friendly. Initially was turned away for not making reservation though I came at 6pm for a quick in out dinner. Seemed reluctant to give me a table but to ask n wait till 7:30. Feels not welcome though I assured her that I’ll be fast. Anyway, the good food overcome...

First time visit this new Thai eatery, we ordered a glass noodles salad, white seafood tomyam, dry garlic fried pork rice set and a dessert plus thai tea.

Thai tea is creamy, felt like they used real milk, red rubies dessert tastes ok, but 50% of it is actually ice tubes, I feel they can be more sincere and give more real content.

Fried pork dry is really dry but luckily have a fish sauce chilli that comes with the set to make it more appealing.

The salad seafood is quite fresh, especially the squid is cooked till tender and soft. The white tomyam is spicy and will numb your palate, probably you want to order some rice to go with it.

Terrible customer service, if they are not ready they should stop operating, Walk in to the restaurant at 8pm in 2 adults and 2 small kids, and stand beside cashier counter for 10 mins but cashier busy with billing customer, asking help from other staffs walk pass but all ignored us, so we went to sit down on empty table (there were 6 empty table that time), after cashier done payment with 2 groups of customer then walk to us and tell us we can’t sit down if no appointment because all reserved, and ask us to move to a small table for 2 persons near toilet but also must finish eating within 45 mins, we walked out and never come back to this...
