This place was recommended by our friend's chef and it wasn't disappointing! They don't have a menu but they have a few staples that customers always ask for. The collagen soup that they boil for 6hrs, foie gras bun and their fried noodles. Call to make a reservation, inform them of likes and dislikes, allergies and a price. The chef will then plan according to your needs. As we left the chef to create a menu for us, we tasted their soup and oh mine! It tasted so rich, so fulfilling even though it was boiled with kampong chicken. We also had the fried scallop and sea cucumber, fried to perfection! The sauce was just amazing! Next up we had the steam fish. Although it was a big fish, the meat wasn't too hard, steamed in their own special sauce. Lobster was next. The lobster head was fried and i could just eat it all! Last dish was the abalone with rice. Not just any rice but it was steamed with mushroom that made it so fragrant! Although it was just a few dishes but we were so full! The foods are flavorful and delicious. Particularly recommend the sous vide kampong chicken, double boiled thick soup with fish lip, seasonal vege and yam in dried shrimp & chili padi. A little flaw is some of the Iberico pork got unpleasant boar taint taste.
Price at high side but from taste wise, we truly appreciate effort and dedication from the chef to bring high quality chinese food into melaka. Definitely worthy !
