Siew bao (pork & chicken): Kinda dry for me. My family also said it’s dry but still worth the try as they’re quite tasty and you can taste chunks of the meat fillings inside. But I personally prefer the pork over the chicken ones.
Kaya puffs: Highly recommend the kaya puffs! They’re filled with kaya and they’re not sweet too! It’s really huge for one that sells at RM1.80! Worth the try ✨
Small tau sar piah: Really, really delicious! 5 stars for this! My family loves it too! They’re really yummy, not sweet and their bottom crust is crispy too ;) it’s a must try! 💯
Egg tarts: Not really nice for me tbh, it has a kind of weird smell and taste to it. My friends who tried the egg tarts told me it was so so only but I still wanted to try it as I love egg tarts a lot. I’m not a picky eater but there’re nicer egg tarts everywhere.
Coconut tarts: The coconut tarts are really underrated! They taste incredibly good! Though the colour isn’t that attracting or appetising, but i highly recommend the coconut tarts to all coconut lovers out there! 😍
Salted egg yolk pastry: Really nice though it’s one of the more expensive items on their menu 🤩 it taste like mooncake and I love it!
Wife pastry: You pay for what you get, as it’s only RM1, it’s a pretty decent wife biscuit. Taste wise it’s okay, but I wouldn’t...
Read moreThis is our favourite shop for Siew Pow that we usually only visit this shop to buy some pastries before visiting family and friends. Even though Empayar Siew Pow is nearer, we have always preferred this one, as the taste, price was reasonable and we have been coming here since 3 years back. However, our recent purchases somewhere in May or June and few days back has left us displeased. The pastry is still the same however the filling has reduced tremendously, before this it used to be full. The sesame balls the peanut ones there is a void filled with only air so much so that you can shake it and feel the filling moving inside. The taste is good but the size of the filling leaves much to be said.
Please improve your packing as the cost of one Siew Pow has already increased. At least please don't use plastic bags for the Siew Pows. A proper box or container is good.
The plus points are that the taste of the egg tarts, cheese tarts, and even the sesame balls are good, we have also tried their breads and buns as well. Those are some of the good ones. Please improve on the quality of your Siew Pows as almost everyone who comes to Seremban will surely...
Read moreI got a recommendation from a friend to try out this place. If you are not a local, it might be difficult to find. But if you do get to find this shop, the siew bao and kaya puff is super delicious!! Eat it when it's hot out from the oven but don't just bite into it. It will burn your tongue. Siew bao filling is very good. It is savoury enough to make every bite blissful. The siew bao's are quite addictive. Had to force myself to stop if not, there won't be any left when I arrive home.
As for the kaya puffs, it's not too sweet. Just the right amount of sweetness to make it really good tasting. Can also taste the kaya is self made and very fresh. Price of the siew bao and kaya puff are not expensive. ,👍🏻👍🏻😍😍. I bought just a few pieces to try. Looks like I'm heading back...
