The difference is apparent! Just look at the first picture between the normal plate of char koay teow and my special plate 😅
I remember going home disappointed one time as it was not opened when I made my way back to KL from Johor one day. Fate has its way... And I found myself lucky on my subsequent visit. Since I have only one objective - my radar actively looked for the CKT stall and then I spotted it. I walked over to the stall, placed my order to the uncle's assistant (not sure if he was his son) and then observed them in work for a while. He took out a box of freshly shucked cockles which instantly lifted my mood up.
When it was served, I was in for a surprise.. more than I think it should, the cockles almost cover the whole plate! My partner had this shock look on his face upon seeing his plate and mine. Personally I was not sure if it was the cockles or the noodle that took centerstage.

Quite cheap pricing. Despite this place are very crowded by customers in the morning, there are still got plenty of empty seats available. Cleanliness in this restaurant are average, and car parking were often very full most...

Whereas the time waited for the cockles CKT is pretty long around 30 minutes due to the high demand. However taste is good, a little spicy and taste pretty good overall. Despite the lack in wok hei, I’d still say it’s really really good overall. The toilet is for sure, not very clean, like a usual koptitiam’s. Parking wise there’s plenty, also depending on the timing.
Pricing wise for the CKT: add on of cockles - +RM6 Big -...
