Wow. The Siew Pow was dem shiok.
Am surprised that the rating is only 4.3 stars. Just the Siew Pow alone, IMHO the rating should be higher.
FYI. There are 4 versions of the Siew Pow, which I listed in terms of my preference below
A. Pork Siew Pow This was the non fatty pork. I was expecting this to be the second best, but the meat to pastry / crust ratio was solid. Turned out to be the best. Will buy a whole bunch to bring back to Singapore
B. Char Siew Siew Pow This was the fatty pork version. The filling itself of fatty pork was amazing. But for some reason the pastry to pork filling ratio was much higher.
If the pastry to pork filling ratio was the same as A above, this would have been the hands down winner.
C. HK Siew Pow Good. But pales in comparison to the other 2 above.
D. Moy Choi Siew Pow Sadly we were sooooo stuffed after two separate prata breakfasts + durian. So I didnāt have any space to try this one out.
Will order the next time I am back.
Two thumbs up. Highly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you're in Seremban, you must try the famous Siew Bao! The pastry is perfectly flaky, with a golden, crispy crust that crumbles in your mouth. The filling is packed with flavorāsavory, slightly sweet, and filled with tender, juicy char siu (BBQ pork). Every bite is pure satisfaction!
Iāve tried Siew Bao from different places, but the ones in Seremban truly stand out. Freshly baked, aromatic, and just the right balance of crispiness and moisture. Perfect as a snack or gift for friends and family!
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Seremban. You...

Aside from that, two of my fave Chinese biscuits and savoury cakes are siew paw and tau sauy. I'm glad I did. They were wonderful and delicious. Given how fresh they were on the day, the pricing is reasonable. If you wish to try some traditional local biscuits and cakes, I highly recommend these. The good ones are...
