Shabuyaki by Nippon Sushi — Restaurant in Negeri Sembilan

This is going to be a long review. Do read them before you go to prepare yourself

You cant book by call, need to come there first and then book at the place. Even though you have booked, dont expect you can get in during your booked time slot. We waited for another hour after our booking time even though there are a lot of empty seats because they were waiting for those that have booked but didnt come yet. Should have discard those people that didnt show up after 10minutes of their booking time instead of making others in line waiting. And for customers PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF YOUR TIMING. Because of these irresponsible people, others need to wait for them.

You can only order one type of meat at a time which is kinda ridiculous I would say. Example, if you come with 4 people but all of you only want to eat beef then you can only order one tray of beef. You need to finish the first tray before can order another one. It’s a hassle to keep calling staff to refill the meat and wasting your time since you also need to wait for them. If you want to put a limit on the number of tray each table can order then I suggest for you to at least let one person order one tray, doesn’t matter on the type of meat.

This is not really a big issue but there is no ice provided for your drinks. You need to ask them for ice if you really want one.

Taste wise, the meat is quite good. I prefer the grilling more than shabu shabu. We chose sukiyaki and spicy miso soup as our soup base, it’s okay nothing special about it. The sauce is 50/50 you need to know how to mix your sauce well for it to taste good. There aren’t many options for frozen food but if you only want to focus on the meat then this would not be a problem at all.

Food All you can eat buffet for much cheaper/affodable prices than other similiar services by other food eateries especially on weekdays . Kids under 110 cm eats for free. Have price for adults and kids under 12 y/o. Reasonable prices of course. Have buffet spread of vegetables, sushi,choices of sauce and dipping for grill. Plain white rice serve warm inside cooker . Serve soft ice cream(shave ice) option for 2 types of flavour, matcha and taro. Main course for grill are lamb/chicken/ fish/beef.Only wet items need to be ordered to server. REMEMBER to ask the server for the TOKEN. 1 token given for 1 paid adults or kids. The token can be use for EXCHANGE of food such fish head/mochi /sushi. Not to forget have chawamushi inside warmer. The soup pot and grill pan are clean and can be ask for change during dine in.

Services Customer need to take a que by scan QR code given front of the house. Que Apps are excellent ,customer will know thei que time as well. When the times come, will get message by whatsapp for reminder.

Atmosphere Buffet restaurant type will expecting many customer and a bit noisy.However all customer looks happy and enjoy eating their food. Server are also attentive.

Recommended to come here especially on the weekdays for best price. Still busy all day long. Good prices good food...
