This is our first time here. The place looks interesting and casual. We ordered the menu we wanted. At first we saw the staff here were busy and hard working. The food and drinks were all average. The best were the Nasi Lemak Fried Chicken, Char Kwetiau and Hainanese Teh Tarik.
There was an incident, where the staff mistakenly sent our food to the next table, and the customer at the next table had already eaten a shrimp from the dish. The staff gave the customer the dish that they ordered, and took our food away to the kitchen.
We didn't really mind, but when we got our food back (which was sent by another staff, a man) We found that the food was not freshly fried, in fact it was cold, shouldn't the fried rice be served while it was still hot? Or was the dish just changed to a different plate and a shrimp was added? Yes.. The customer at the next table had already eaten a shrimp from that plate.
Tea Garden Special Fried Rice, but it taste likes empty, nothing, just accompanied by a few shrimps.. Hahaha.. Hmm.. It's okay.. We just want you to know, what it really is. Sometimes we see these customers who don't know anything. Please be careful next time. We don't want to be divas, just let's be fair and just.
Good luck....
Read moreAs a renowned big chain, this restaurant delivers delicious food that lives up to its reputation, with a wide variety of options on the menu. The atmosphere is decent, making it a potentially enjoyable dining spot. However, the pricing is slightly above average.
Despite its established reputation, the service quality at this outlet falls short of expectations. A chain of this scale should ensure consistent and well-trained service across all locations, but unfortunately, this standard is not reflected here. The staff appear disorganized and undertrained, which significantly impacts the overall dining experience.
Crowd management is a major issue, even when the restaurant is not busy. Empty seats often remain unutilized due to poor communication among staff, leaving customers confused and waiting unnecessarily. Simple requests take longer than expected, and attention to detail is lacking.
This restaurant was once bustling with customers but has become noticeably less crowded over the past three months. For a chain known for its reliability, this outlet urgently needs to improve its service standards to align with the quality of its food. Immediate attention and significant improvements are required to restore...
Read moreDidn’t post any photos because they look exactly like the ones shown on menu, so far kudos to the quality control 😌 I’ve tried mutton nasi lemak (9.5/10) - mutton decent (not much of bones), very friendly spices and in-depth flavors, I like the refreshing role of acar in their nasi lemak; rendang chicken nasi lemak (8.7/10) - imo it’s a different kind of rendang, probably its consistency feels like a hybrid of curry concentrated stew and rendang, yet great flavors, chicken was well-marinated; steamed herbal chicken with rice (8.8/10) - expected and got served nothing less, great taste! Honorary to their chicken gyoza (9.8/10) - it was unexpectedly competent! Springey and soft skin, flavor-wise nothing over the top, just the right amount of cameralization on the fried surface and great steamed texture, simply harmonious, btw this could be controversial, I think its even better than those served in Seremban’s Japanese restaurant. In short, I like how those served dishes—the elements on the plate always feel clean and fresh, as consumer that feels like a treat, and it is now one of my fav go-to brunch spot in Seremban. Keep it up...
