This restaurant is completely hidden from view at GotongJaya.
On your ascend uphill from Karak highway and just before Genting View Resort, take left turn road towards GotongJaya. Turn into 1st row of GotongJaya shops on your left, and just past KK mini-mart, take the left slip road between 1st & 2nd row shops and proceed 300 meters to reach Dai Guan Hill restaurant.
Typical Chinese "Dai-Chow" fare with focus on local river fish varieties such as kelah, patin, tilapia, fresh water prawns, etc.
We had steamed wild patin fish @ rm250/kg, fried la-la, water spinach in clay pot, fried angle beans, crispy pork belly and special in-house herbal chicken soup. Total bill: rm370.00. Four adults and one child.
We all enjoyed the food and the chef's skill at preparing our dishes deserves full accolades.

Read more2nd time to have lunch here. Ordered their freshwater fish, steamed ikan baung with soysauce and signature tofu. They recommended us to prepare the fish either with soysauce steam or Teochew style steam. The fish was fresh, and donât have any smell of soil like the fishes which came from the farm hatcheries. The fish should be caught in wild therefore they only dare to recommend us to cook in the simplest method to taste the fish. The fish was delicious and even my girlfriend who doesnât like fish very much also said she like the way of preparing the fish.
Overall, the food was good and cheap. This place had become my first-to-choose lunch place whenever I went to...

Can taste the quality of meat is lower too compared to last time.. quite a disappointing visit. The Chinese lady that served us at the end was rude to us, other staff was okay and friendly. (Environment is nice for me personally as the air is fresh, tho my partner did complain that there is mosquito and smell of fish) this restaurant used to be full last time, now is hardly 1/4 full during my visit during...
