Tai Chuan Camping Bar — Restaurant in Pahang

Worst experience. No one serve at the entrance, we standing there quite long but no one entertained, white shirt crew busy in and out at the kitchen, black shirt crew gather at the bar seems doing nothing. So we look for a seat ourself and sit down also no one care, self scan qr code and ordered half an hour nothing was served, we even have time to count how many crew there, they have more than 10.

Some customer already wait until annoyed start making noise then only they take it serious. Their family & friends all sitting at the counter chitchatting with the crew meanwhile most of the customer are still waiting with an empty table. Lol.

Chicken stick & apple juice come after 45min and the beef one no update. When we ask after one hour, only they say all beef are out of stock long time ago, and no one care to update the system….what kind of management is that? And no one inform us also until we ask! End up we waited for 2 hours for all food to be served!

A chinese lady staff was rude, we requested to change table, she clean the table by using used tissue on the table left by previous customer and wipe so hard until the dirt water spill on my feet and go away immediately without apologizing!

Environment good, but service and atmosphere is the worst! Food below average but price so high.

What I have observed is they only focus entertain their friends, and seems prioritizing those customers ordered huge amount of alcohol. For “normal customer” you better think twice before you come. For me I definitely wont...

Dated: 7/1/2024 Pre-ordered for the Roasted Chicken the same day morning. Before going to restaurant we still double confirmed for the chicken, they replied “Already Stand By”.

After arrived the place, we were informed it takes 1hour for the Chicken, because their staff didn’t take the order🤥~

Guess what, the chicken finally comes after 1:45hour (Yes I time it, coz I was freaking hungry).

Order few other dishes, food was OK, but not as KOL claimed super nice & juicy.

We ordered: Whole Roasted chicken: It was ok to eat, but not super good and juicy. (The staff forgot to bring the Seasoning Plate to us. We were informed when setteling bill)

Egg Plant: Portion is big, season is ok.

Pork stew: Standard flavour, I tasted better from Plaza Arkadia(音乐烤吧）

Grilled Vege: Ok not bad

Grilled Lala: Their lala is big, taste standard

White rice & fried Ham rice: standard flavour

Overall 2 of us spent RM227 for this meal, took 2Hours for hungry dinner.

Rating Service ⭐️⭐️ They seems like understaffed & unorganised workflow, everyone look so rush. Although their lady Boss is friendly and seek for advice from their customer about the taste, but overall I feel discomfort having dinner there.

Food ⭐️⭐️ Food is really not that impressed, although the KOL from FB claimed it it was very nice. But the taste is average, can try if you want.

Atmosphere; ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Environment quite good, and it’s pet friendly.

Will I go back again? Probably not, coz my expectation were too high from KOL, ended up getting disaster service, and...

Most of the 5 star reviews are fake, as they give 2 roast skewers in return of doing a review.

Pre ordered a whole roasted chicken because we heard it was good. They called back to push our reservation back 2 hours which is fine. Upon arrival our preorder got cancel cancel because they would rather proceed with a 1.7k roasted lamb from 1 table than to serve any other tables‘ order.

They asked if we can wait for an hour, which we say yes, because we really wanted to have the roasted chicken. Whilst waiting, we ordered other dishes like whole fish, tofu, veges and eggplant. Fish was decent but not worth 100++. Tofu was tasteless and burned, so is the vege, they just add some garlic on top thats it. Egg plant was the only thing that is nice.

At the end we waited 2 hours for the roasted chicken, and it was so disappointing. They apologized for the poor service that they but TBH if they didnt greed for the 1 roast lamb order and properly serve every table it would be fine.

Thing is if you have to shut down the whole roasting station to prepare your roast lamb for 4 hours, might as well close down the whole restaurant or make it fully reserved, than to still greedily open as usual to leave your ordered all messed up.
