Went out for a stroll with the missus on our kapchai and end up on top of a mountain!! Our belly is rocking for food and we decided to gave this place a try. As most of anyone who ever commented here, this place is located in the end of a road (this concluded the dead end and the parking space issues). It is advised for anybody who is intereted to came and try to park elsewhere and do a bit of exercise (walking). Don't judge me, we came on a kapchai and we parked quiet far 😎. Ordered their signature Nasi Lemak Strawberi, a Hot Coffee and an Iced Milo. The nasi lemak is insteresting enough with two kind of sambal, one is the normal sambal and the other is strawberry based sambal. The nasi is pink due to strawberry coloring. Presentation is very eye pleasing and I do gave them credit for this. And the taste is, well it is nasi lemak, and it should taste like one but a hint of strawberry sweetness does made this meal a bit above normal (having difficulties to discribe this nasi lemak 😁). The accompany fried chicken is crisp and tender. Almost forget that we did ordered the Strawberry Iced Cream. Didn't has a chance to try this as it was finished by the missus 😂. It must be up to her taste. Is it worth even the trip, well if you were already here in Cameron Highland and nearby the area, WHY NOT?. But if you gonna travel just for this, think twice as Cameron Highland is notoriously congested with traffics. As for the price, I do believed theres more Nasi Lemak is pricier than this (for MYR9.90 you will get a plate of Nasi Lemak infused with strawberry and a unique sambal, hey you can't get this elsewhere).

Overall the food is okay but nothing wow about it. The price is RM 18.90 for nasi lemak ayam crispy. For me it is considered quite pricey judging from the portion and serving method. Just using a box instead of plates. Other than that in terms of services is good, the staff is okay, the ordering system is efficient online just by scanning from QR code and wifi also provided and the speed is fast. Luckily during our visit not that many people probably during weekdays and early in the morning. The restaurant is clean and huge where there are a lot of tables in different sections so it can fit a lot of people at one time. There are also sections where they sell products like jam and visitors can buy them. I would prefer other restaurants that sell nasi lemak strawberry but it's not wrong to give it a try since this place is very famous and hyped by everybody.

Went for lunch around 11.40am and had to wait in line due to the place was full house, understandable. We ordered food for 7 pax that amounted to almost RM 200. Which is fine since the place was viral. The place was boiling hot, no fan system whatsoever. I do get that CH is a cold place but a restaurant shouldn’t not have a fan to accommodate such large amount of people by that. It’s packed and stuffed. Wifi, false advertising on the table for the password. We had to ask a staff which is almost unavailable around peak time. Ordering food, QR code given but due to wifi was SLOW, it took us more than 30 minutes to place one. We had to use our own mobile data, Celcom, XOX and Maxis altogether but still took a lot of time. Server for the food ordering system through QR was ridiculous. Slow and not user friendly. Took us another 20-30 minutes to make payment online until we gave up and went to counter to just pay directly. What was the point of having that system then? Now, food. Nasi Lemak Sambal Strawberry Ayam Crunchy, Scones, 2pcs Chicken Set, Strawberry Lychee Soda was good. Nasi Lemak Ayam Gepuk Strawberry, Hokkaido Soft Serve icecream and Nasi Putih Daging Dendeng was mid. Worst was the drinks. Iced milk tea is mid, frankly said mamak is wayyy better. Strawberry ice blended and strawberry milk tea was disgusting. Ice blended tasted like powdered, full of artificial flavour. As for the strawberry milk tea, they skipped on the strawberry and gave us normal milk tea. It took them more than 40 minutes to make our drinks which I know it was ready beforehand due to the ice in our drinks are melted. MELTED. We had to go back to the counter to change our drinks. NOT EVEN A SORRY was given to us. They added the strawberry jam/puree and we had to place another request to add in the ice. Mind you the place was packed and boiling hot. Our drinks by that time was seriously diluted from previous ice and they just ignored it. One of the Nasi Lemak, picture attached, GOT EGGSHELLS IN IT. Not one tiny piece, TWO big pieces of shell. Wth? I lost my appetite and the entire experience was not worth for the money I spent. I will not recommend this place to all, they are not worth the viral.

I heard this cafe famous with signature nasi lemak sambal strawberry so I decide to give a try during my short holiday at Cameron Highland. Here are some review from me. 1) Quite huge restaurant in this area compare to others. Please take note you may need to stand up 30 minutes to get table. Ramai gile org.....sampai rasa segan pulak nak berdiri sebelah org Makan. But no choice. Peak hours for this restaurant is 9-11am during weekend or long holiday. So be prepared. Restaurant environment is good, clean and nice. Ada strawberry farm but during my visit strawberry nya tak berbuah atau dh kena petik 😁😁😁😁. For this I give 1 🌟 2) There are a lot of meals to choose from signature nasi lemak strawberry, pan cake, scone and noodles. I decide to try nasi lemak and pan cake. Sad to hear scone is out of stock. I think owner of the restaurant need to prepare more during peak time. Even pan cake finished at 10am 😢😢. Taste of the foods is nice especially pan cake. For nasi lemak I think just regular taste but the sambal strawberry is unique. So I give 1 🌟. 3) food delivery time kira cepat la during peak hours....but overall restaurant management during peak hours not so good. Dengan cashier muka ketat. Order deliver tak complete sampai aku pulak kena pegi remind 2-3 kali. Sampai dh tak leh tahan aku pegi sendiri ambik kat kaunter air. Sorry not able to give star for this. I believe you can improve your service and table arrangement. 4) overall agak mahal kedai ni. Why I said that because I makan nasi lemak better than this around this area half of the price. Service tip top with full of smile. Orang ramai jugak. Sorry not able to give star for this. 5) Value added service.....they do have shop where you can buy their products. I like it. I can buy the sambal, strawberry juice and few more product at one place. I should give 1 🌟 for this.

Went ahead to unravel what's the hype about the Nasi Lemak controversy with strawberry sambal. The location of the cafe was just tucked away, hidden at the very corner of this dead end. So parking was just impossible, many potential customers were just turned away due to the lack of parking spots or they would have just parked far outside the junction. The cafe was just packed even after the peak lunch hours. And a QR code menu is just irritating since it is just a shared PDF file with 10 pages of heavy content on Google Drive that's gonna be so tough to load for customers with bad mobile coverage or no data. Wi-Fi was not working since the password can only be obtained after paying. Even connected, the connection wasn't working. The Nasi Lemak was just plain, lacking that distinctively M'sian taste of pine leaves and coconut milk. A dash of pink food color does not make it any more appetising, maybe to the hoard of children yes but the flavours of what should be constituted as Nasi Lemak is severe lacking. I have to say, strawberry does not go well with sambal. It just taste like a horrible mixture gone wrong. The citrus nature of strawberries is just does bode well with the sambal. It tasted like spicy jam at best. Their normal sambal was way better. Fired chicken was decent, although they got the cuts wrong. Charging 10 ringgit for a plate and there is no anchovies? Lastly the drinks there are so watered down. Disappointingly they can even serve decent beverages since they are a "café". At almost 5 ringgit, I could get a better tasting coffee at 1/4 of the price. Or is boiled water there just too expensive? Definitely not worth the hype, no matter how well the place is decorated, jeopardising the food and beverage is just atrocious.

Terrible. Nonsense. Do not go at all. Waste of money. Order by QR, pay online transfer, website down, walk to counter, confirm order, pickup yourself for.. RM20 nasi lemak that’s no better than roadside RM3 nasi lemak. Nothing good, nothing special. Where is the sambal strawberry? Taste just like regular sambal just tad bit salty. .. Food served in paperbox (dine in) why? Cheapskate much? Try so hard to have a fast food concept but the restaurant itself is hot, relying mostly on natural weather, barely any fan. Came for lunch weekday not so many people also very hot. Staff is there just to chat loudly, memekak. Why are these people even here? No basic customer service skill either (what do i expect from this rubbish place atp.. lol) Fast food? More like fast money for owner. Melayu say “pergi haji balik hari” So angry. Hope the business close down soon. My fault for trusting the hype. Pay so expensive for something so cheap.
