Hyderabad Recipe's • Kuantan — Restaurant in Pahang

On my recent work trip to Kuantan recently, me and my colleague passed by this place and decided to try it the next day as we both love Pakistani/Indian cuisine.

We ordered a few dishes and they're all tasty and suits our tastebuds.

The main highlight for us was definitely the Briyani. An explosion of spices in the mouth. The moment we had the first spoonful of the rice, it was a joy to our palates. You can just eat it on its own without any side dishes, and it'll still be good.

The dishes we ordered, Butter chicken masala and Lagan Gohst were great as well. Different style of butter masala, which isn't too creamy as others. Lagan gohst was also tasty - the lamb was tender. Both dishes screamed spices but not spicy for us. Amazing.

Kulcha was good by itself, but when dipped with the gravies, superb.

Some of our comments for improvements: Use paper and pen to take orders. The waiter forgot two of our orders. Drinks came quite late almost when we're finishing our food. But the kulcha, didn't come even when we finished our food and I had to remind them again. No issues as we're eager to try the food, so we waited. No water at the sink to wash hand. There's a bottle of mineral water (charged if used), which I think should be complementary given that there's no water available at the premise.

Overall, a nice place to dine it with quite surrounding....

I went to this Hyderabad Recipe restaurant in Kuantan with my family for lunch as I was been here before.

But this time my experience was not that great with the service. One of their staff was very rude. Made it very difficult for me and my family to interact and place our orders. Even upon asking for simple thing like the status of our order, this staff keep replying in a rude manner since beginning and responded very rudely to my dad. I got no choice but to ask the staff if he is OK and any specific reason why he seems to be so angry and behaving so rude with my family members.

Best part is, it was only me and my family in the whole restaurant during lunch time , despite that rather focusing on providing good service, he started behaving rude which made it very uncomfortable for my family to even sit there and have proper lunch there.

I initially was thinking of going even for dinner too because I rarely knows much of Indian restaurants in Kuantan but after experiencing such unprofessional behaviour, we decided not to visit this restaurant again.

Dear Hyderabad Recipe, Kuantan, NO doubt you got good food to serve, but if you can’t welcome your customers and serve your customers professionally , then service industry or restaurant business is not your cup of...

When we have ordered chicken briyani but the waiter said that chicken for that food not available and suggested to take different recipe for chicken but didnt advice on price changes. Then we were being charged hire price. After all, the briyani had burned taste.

Next, there will have package promotion: 4-5 ppl would cost rm60, compared to single plate rm14.50. But dont ever order the package. The amount of food terribly small and you gonna waste some bucks over there.

If you ever tasted masala tea before this, dont buy over here. There will be something tagged as bangalore masala tea. But then, it wasnt even a tea. That thing maybe bangalore based drinking water, Maybe.

Lets talk about the service. Very less crowd. But the service was super slow. We should have avoid that restaurant when we noticed slow crowd.

Anyway, i won't blame other foods since i didnt try. Of course, we won't...
