Came to GPO for shopping. But then bumped into this restaurant, located at the cornering area. The view from inside this restaurant is superb.

With the cold wind and great view, hot water is a perfect match. I ordered hot milk tea, taste was great. Other than that, we ordered salted fish fried rice, fried dumpling and nasi lemak.

Portion for each food is big which is match with with price. Normally the price around RM20++ / serving. They also serve small portion food for the kids. Price is around RM17++ / plate.

This restaurant did not have Halal certified yet, but from what i interviewed the waitres, she said that this restaurant is applying it. Hopefully the will get the certification soon.

We wait around 15mins to get our food served. The waiters & waitress very polite and kind. They did not provide toilet & sink.

There are other options of menu to choose from, you should give it a try. At the counter, you can buy 3 in 1 drinks, under their brand.

Overal, i am a satisfied customer. I do hope they will get Halal...

Service of Farah was bad! Does it reflects the Madam Kwans branding? Not friendly environment.

We had late lunch 1:35 on a saturday 3rd of May 2025 at the premium outlet in genting there were 15 of us vacationing. We patiently waited for our food as we understood it was full packed only quite a number of server. We had our rendang served first but it took 20-30min wait for our chicken cutlet. When we politely follow up, this Farah a server put up her hand and with her sarcastic eyes "wait" as if we have asked too many times. My husband asked for the manager and disrepectfully she did not call him instead another staff we had asked called him. Manager was apologetic but not Farah!

If that is the face of staff you are training and branding you want to show? then in time you will lose your customers. By the way we are not the only one who complained that day table beside us also complained. If you have cctv you can take a look and see...

Located high up, no wonder it’s called Madam Kwan’s Highlands. The thing about chains are always maintaining the staffs etiquette as well as food quality. Well this branch is doing well in both aspects. Service is impeccable. Ambience is great, you get a great view while dining. Only the coolness or the lack of it is outside their control. Might get hot as the sun goes up. The nasilemak always the superstar. I just wonder if the nasilemak only comes with chicken breast and no options of other parts? I ordered 3 pax, and all chicken breast. Meaty but the part is also known to be on the tougher side. The charkoayteow was full of ingredients but lack of wokhei kinda loose it half a star 🤣. Frankly it’s still superb but I am a wokhei person. The satay was ok, big chunky meats but I preferred the roadside versions 😁 this one more of...

Nice location with nice mountains view in GPO. Decent food with reasonable price, considering in Genting f&b are more expensive.
