If you read this review, that's mean you are Lucky today. Believe it or not, the choice is yours & you have been warned 😎🤞 In summary, this restaurant is another tourist trap in Cameroon 🪤 ⚠️⚠️⚠️
First of all, shameless owner of the restaurant, they use dirty trick to catch the customers by serve one dish of vegetable first so the customer got no option to leave/change restaurant and force to wait long Q for their meal. BUT, Q is not the big issue, the HORRIBLE part is, they won't follow the universe rule FIRST COME FIRST SERVE, people that order more dishes/more expensive dishes will get priority (200% assurance they will definitely cut your waiting list) this is unprofessional ! Shame on you ! Still vivid pic in my mind remember upon leaving the restaurant, I still saw a few tables of customers, sitting there 4/5persons with white rice on table with one vegetable dish at center of table, Crazy!!! can't do anything to help as they already fall into trap, really feel bad for them 🤬😡😡😡
Second, hygiene of this restaurant is bad, I don't think they can pass KKM hygiene rating, flies everywhere, while eating you have to keep on busy chasing away the fles 🪰🪰🪰🪰 Luckily we didn't get diarrhea after the meal. KKM should look into this restaurant, the environment of the restaurant really doubtful their ability to comply to the food hygiene standard in Malaysia.
Third, the portion of food they served is way too small portion, I think I can count the pieces of vege/ meat in each dishes they serve, make me wonder am I mistaken order a kid meal 🤦
Fourth, be careful with the Google rating you see here, I think the reviews are fake ‼️ My experience dining in this restaurant is completely opposite as what people rated here for this restaurant. Caution ‼️‼️‼️ I saw few tourists guide bring tourists to this restaurant, they appear like know the owner of this restaurant during their chatting I overheard while waiting for my food, something really fishy is happening here, I think Google should control their reviews... complete misleading information.
The purpose of writing this long review of this restaurant is to avoid more people falling into same trap like what I exp. If you read the review till here, that's mean you are lucky and you have been warned.
Overall, I don't recommend this restaurant, unless you want to spoil your trip to Cameron. Please avoid this restaurant...
Read moreRarely give bad comment on places I went. But this one, I really think I should give.. So that ppl can see the real reviews. We searched randomly on Google map for our lunch location & found this place, based on the 4.8 high rating decided to hv our lunch there. Now I read back those reviews, ooohh... Ppl were being asked to give good reviews by the restaurant... Ok, the story was like this. We went in at around 2pm+ for late lunch. Not many customers in the restaurant already. Basically 2 or 3 tables are waiting to be served, the rest were halfway eating already. We ordered steamboat, plain soup, with standard set of ingredients.. Waited for 40mins, served nothing. I hint the staff to check, then they served the soup. They only served the clear soup... Without ingredients yet. I asked the lady boss "Boss, we only order the steamboat, the ingredients all no need to cook one, should be faster right?" She answered me, "our restaurant policy is like that, we serve according to table sequence, based on who come first". Then fine.. We kept waiting.. Until almost an hour, looking at the plain soup, I talked to the guy staff again. The guy staff was very rude (just like how they responded to bad reviews here, tried to justify & blame the customers), I didn't even finish my sentence, he interrupted me by saying "We already told u, we serve according to table". Then I tried to explain to him, "I said I just want to feedback, maybe u can change ur policy abit, bcoz I never experience a restaurant can take so long to serve steamboat, raw food, u don't even have to cook, just arrange those ingredients and serve". Then he repeated the same thing "we serve according to table". Well, a restaurant that doesn't accept any feedback for improvement, so I have to write my review to alert others here. If u want to come, get ready to wait. Another two tables that came before us (two different families ya), told us they waited for 1hour+ before they leave the restaurant. And the food... Really very so so only... U get full, but... Don't expect good taste... The worse experience I hv in Cameron after so many times travelling there. Think twice, read genuine...
