Kirtiga Meals Restaurant Juru Sentral — Restaurant in Penang

Please avoid this place at all cost !! We wasted more than 35 mins waiting for food n it tasted like left over. Yes, my comment is Harsh n I will tell you why.

Order: 2 briyani + 1 Vege thali set + Hot Bru Coffee + Ice lemon tea Waiting time : 35 minutes ++ Food taste : Really Bad/Disappointment Cleanliness: Handwash Sink was clogged n dirty Good part: Well airconditioned premise with clean table n chair

Dine In Experience at 2pm on a Friday Hot Bru Coffee was cold n seems like not freshly made. (Re-heated) Briyani was tasteless fried rice with frozen ingredients/masala. (Re-heated) Vege Thali set (Only cabbage was served with re-heated old curries.) (No other vegetables served but price was really high)

Everything from food to drink seem to be re heated old food as it taste really bad. The price is exorbitant for the quality of food.

Made an earlier reservation for my ROM Lunch on 1/03/2022. First step into the restaurant, greeted by a staff and with warm welcome. Upon addressing our objectives, the staff direct us to VIP room and brief us with their chef best menu's. Gave us a pen & paper to jot down the menu for the day meal pre-order

On the day of arrival, we got chance to drop them a call ½ an hour earlier and this helped them to ready the meal by time we touch down. No regrets the company really enjoyed the meal. Thali set with Siakap Sambal, Jenahak Fish Head curry, Hydrabad & Punjab Chicken, Vege Avuyal truly a tongue tickling moment.

They had special request in which we order a small amount qty of payasam and that really end our meal really well. Complimentary salted mint leaves & spices iced juice really refreshing though.

Probably alot of dissatisfaction review due to lack of manpower & staff.

My bet, they could nailed indian F&B competition around Bayan Lepas whence the resources...

I was totally disappointed with the food and cleanliness. The restaurant was stinking like garbage since we entered. In fact we asked the waiter to move away the trash car, but he said it's the smell of the fish that was served to the opposite table. My husband and I had to ignore all of that, because we were literally starving that day. Hence we went ahead and placed our order. To add to our disappointment, the food quality and quantity wasn't in place. We spent 16 MYR for a plate of nethili poriyal (smelts fry), which hardly had 10 pieces of nethili fish. The vegetarian thali set, had nothing but absolutely spicy water named as sambar. The veggies were so bad that we couldn't identify what it was.

Inspite of all these, we still found a couple of waiters checked in on us if everything was ok. Thanks to them.

But owners, if you are reading this feedback, please take it constructively and work on the improvement part. We would surely love to visit this place if we hear good...
