I have to say this is a very disappointing experience to dine here. This restaurant claims the ingredients are directly shipped from Tsukiji Japan on their notice board and menu but this is never the real case. I have ordered a few items but the overall quality is so bad. After double checking with the staff, they finally give the answers about the origin of their seafood after aligning with the chef. Then I come to realise the description on their menu is definitely misleading. Many items on the page labelled with directly shipped from Tsukiji Tokyo are proved not. Anyway, let us go back to the food itself. I ordered Negi Ponzu Gyu Tan with salmon sashimi first to pair with my beer. The Gyu Tan is over cooked and hard to chew. The salmon sashimi is with bad quality and tastes not fresh. Also I noticed that the leek they used is not authentic Japanese one. This is why I started talking with the staff and double checking about the origin of a few items. As per their chef, most of their seafood are either from Norway or China or US and only a small portion from Hokkaido. Moreover, the chicken sashimi aka 地鶏(じどり) is actually from Malaysia, in this case they are not 地鶏(じどり) anymore. In order to fully understand the food quality here, I paid 88++ for a single Hokkaido scallop, which is confirmed from Hokkaido according to the owner. It takes 30mins for me to get the grilled Hokkaido scallop and it is absolutely disappointing. The chef used super heavy butter and sugar to grill it, which is not common in Japanese cuisine. After taking the first bite, I can tell this scallop is not fresh and might have been kept in fridge for many weeks. This might explain why it takes 30mins. The texture is so slimy and there is unpleasant odour of decomposing even with such heavy butter. The size of the scallop is also not satisfactory given its high price. Furthermore, the chicken tail is normal, not fatty or chewy at all. No proper seasoning too. Service wise, it is good since the waitress is so patient. The decoration is also not bad. But the food here is really disappointing and the altitude of the owner is truly a big problem. Finally I paid 200 ringgit for those disappointing food and I would never recommend...

Salmon soup rice where the salmon is over cooked so it's dry and not juicy at all. The chef cooking skill is below par
Unagi don portion is super small where a kiddo can't even feel full. Rice is about 40% of the bowl size and don't forget the volume of bottom part of a bowl is quite small. So this RM36.80 spent was just for a HALF bowl of dishes with unagi on top.
Grilled scallops have no grilled aroma. We could only taste the soyu.
Supervisor's skill of handling customer got to improve. He responded to me I was the 1st customer to complain (it should be the 1st customer who dare to complain) I replied him that it was my 1st time to call out supervisor for complaining too.

In short, the food quality here is above average, but the pricing is double compare to the other restaurant. (2 pax spent around rm150)
Long story , we have been seated at upstairs, after 30mins we ordered our food, 1st dish finally served, we finished it, and 2nd dish is only served after another 15 mins of waiting.
When the waiter served the 2nd dish, clearly our 1st dish is finished and filled with wastes,
i purposely put it near to the table side for their ease to keep it, but she didnt take it away until i asked her to.
Of course, my 2nd dish is finished, after another 15mins my other dishes still not yet served, i have no choices to call them to ask, then only the other dishes are served faster.
