A small shop that serves fish noodles in clear or sour & spicy soup in a peaceful kampung area. The grouper fish fillet was big, very fresh (no fishy smell) and juicy ; but do take note that it has bones, so be careful when savouring the fish fillets. The clear soup base tasted sweet and peppery and the spicy & sour soup was mostly sour with subtle hints of spiciness. I prefer the planta susu toast which was sweet & savoury; more than the pandan kaya toast which was fragant and more on the creamy side (it was not sweet at all). The fish maw soup was also delicious and had lots of fish maw in it which tasted like szechuan soup. They also sell some fishermen local produce like dried squid and dried fish satay. Read moreI came here in an rainy morning and it was very pleasant cool having a hot coffee with the home-made kaya toast. It's beyond my expectation. Upon finishing, I was very tempting to try one of their signatures - Fish Maw Soup. I never had this in the morning but it may not be a bad idea to have a hot soup in such a cooling morning. It's worth for money and tastes good. Personally I like it very much.
