Please review your ordering/packaging flow for those take away/pickup order and train well the staff.
Today I have waited my dinner 1.5 hours. At 5:32pm, I ordered my meal via FoodPanda app and then the app informed the pickup time is 5:56pm. I arrived the shop and show the order number to the waiter (GUY A) while the time was 5:55pm, so he asked me wait for a while and I cannot see my order slip on the table,(they arranged those order slips on the table respectively).
At around 6:15pm, I asked again another guy (GUY B) and I told him ME: I have been here around 30mins, could you cross check the order? B: 30 mins? sorry, we have many items need to clear, please wait at the side.
I sit back again and after 3 mins, B came to me, " Hey, left 1 item only so please wait for a while," he said.
At 6:41pm, I felt strange and asked an old lady (who didnt wear the uniform but hard-working to pack the food as I observed), she treated me nicely and did help me to cross check the kitchen and order slip instead of telling me same thing without doing any check. Thanks god, she found that only 1 item had been done prepare (out of 3) and I was waiting forever nothing.
I felt nothing make senses to me as the previous guys served me who were not doing job right. So I told the lady I decide to cancel on Foodpanda but she told me those leftover items are quick in preparation and she went to kitchen with around 5 mins and brought out 2 packs donburi.
I know now the dine-in service is open but please review the human source arrangement for better customer experience.
The food taste and quality are excellent to me but today experience made me feel disappointed as I went out and back home used 2 hours (1.5 hours waiting + .5 hour jam). I will not blacklist this shop, just wish those kind of experiences can be avoided for my next...
Read moreThe place isn’t perfect but it is one of the better Japanese restaurant in Bukit Mertajam. The food here is mostly delicious and we had a lot of good times here. However, the staffs preparing the salmon sashimi need to be more attentive because there were bones inside the sashimi during our time there and no one likes having fish bones suddenly poking their gums during chewing.
There are a lot of private rooms upstairs so it is ideal to reserve those rooms when dining in during the pandemic to have that safety assurance. The toilets here are also acceptable and not overly dirty which is a good sign.
The overall service will depend on whether you are dining in or taking away the food. You will have a better experience when dining in due to the staff‘s friendliness and the food arriving quicker recently. The problem with taking away is that the waiting period for everyone’s food is different(some slower than others) and the food doesn’t taste as good when you bring it home.
I do have to say the food prices are very expensive and not everyone can turn a blind eye to it. But if you appreciate good quality then there is no harm in giving this place a try every...
Read moreHad a lunch here but was seated at a corner table near to the centralized aircond unit and a wall fan on the other side. However it was warm throughout and by the end of lunch, I was sweating away. I then told a staff why is the aircond not turn on and he said he will check. Another staff then came and informed that the AC unit is malfunctioning and I questioned as to why am I still being seated there. I had to leave shortly after when I was sweating away and I was already sweating from under my legs. At the cashier, no acknowledgement whatsoever to my complaint earlier and I decided to question the staff why am I being seated there. And they acknowledged that they were aware of the matter and it has been fixed 2 days back and will highlight the matter again to get it fixed. And again I question again why am I being seated there when the restaurant was near empty when I walked in at before the lunch rush hour on a weekend. And she said they thought it’s ok and if there’s a complain then we will get people to fix. No apologies given and I paid my...
