This is a pet cafe with a cause for good, housing abandoned and stray dogs and cats for you to interact with.
They have an interesting concept of promoting adoption where rescuers can place rescued dogs in the cafe for 30 days, in case there are any interest to adopt the dog. There are several dogs belonging to the cafe with their special needs for interaction. The dogs are cute in their own way and you can view their Facebook page to see which dogs are for adoption.
They serve pretty basic food with a variety of drinks such as coffee and speciality options. Food and drinks quality is decent.
They also sell treats and food that you can share with the dogs too, but just beware that the moment you open a bag with treats, they'll all mob you.
The cafe is on the second floor of the building with decent seating. This is a really unique cafe hoping to good and we really enjoyed our experience interacting with the dogs here. Highly recommend visiting this place as something special...
Read moreGreat pet cafe for those who want to bring their dogs and cats and a place to visit "resident" stray dogs who are available for adoption. The cafe is opened by an owner who owns a local shelter in Ipoh - Mutts and Mittens. The food and drinks are reasonably priced for the portion and tasted decent. The staff are friendly, polite, and attentive to both the customers and the pets. The space doesn't smell like other pet cafes I've visited in KL and Selangor. All proceeds from the cafe are channelled to the strays and the pet shelter. There are also some merch, trinkets, and dog treats you can buy to support the shelter. They accept cash and Touch n Go payment. Definitely recommend to those who are finding a place to bring their pets to chill or looking for a cafe to hang out with some doggos and...
Read moreThis is a must visit if you love dogs! It's hard to believe that the dogs here all had behavioural issues because they were all so well-behaved and gentle, so that speaks a lot about the training and love that the trainers put in to rehabilitate them for rehoming.
The menu is not extensive, but the food was delicious.
Most of the dogs here are not puppies and they are all looking for homes, so the owners believe that rehabilitating them in the cafe and getting them used to humans would help them fit into homes better than if they were to stay in shelters. they wouldn't mind if you were to sit beside them and pat...
