Food wise is okay, something different from others. But queuing from entering to ordering is rather a bad experience couple with unfriendly and rude staffs. 1 queue for fried stuffs, 1 queue for steam stuffs, 1 queue for Bao stuffs and another queue for chee cheong fun and porridge. Every step to having a complete dim sum breakfast is to queue everywhere and when you have everything on the table, some food turned cold. Bear in mind, u have to queue with the ordering chit, hence if you decided to queue for multiple sections, you need a runner that brings the chit from queue to queue. My mum monitored what others have been ordering while waiting for a table for almost 30mins. When we tried to order the bao, my mum merely repeated that she wanted a big bao and wants to have it cut, the bao aunty suddenly went berserk and started raising her voice asking my mum to wait while she takes the bao out and that she will cut them. My mum then apologize and mentioned it was her first time here and thus, didn’t know that it will be done without us asking. With the rude attitude and frustrated tone, the bao lady called my mum a LIAR as she recognize my mum and it’s not my mum’s first time. You are in a service line, even though u are stress for being busy on a weekend, you should not lash it on your customer. Are you sure you can recognize each and every of your customer? i can tell you YOU CAN’T! Because indeed WE ARE FIRST TIMER IN THIS PATHETIC PLACE. and believe us, we’ll never be back again! We’ll never recommend this place at all. And i think the good reviews are being paid for. One of the worst place to be in IPOH. Most sections staffs isn’t...
Read moreI have to honest, their dimsum is pretty fresh and 诚意十足, the Har Kaw definitely have at least 2-3 real prawns inside, and you can tell they are pretty freshly made. The Siew Mai, Loh Mai Gai, Har Guen were all good too. Overall I would say pretty good standard.
However, the downside is their ordering system, it was really horrible that you let all the customers queue at only 1 line for dimsum, and was only 1 aunty serving. There's another staff (also only one staff) beside the aunty serves the fried stuffs. It was Saturday morning, the restaurant was full, with 20+ ppl queueing outside, but you only have 2 staffs working on almost all the main dimsum dishes? Definitely need improvement.
Pao and Loh Mai Gai are on the other side, served by 2 staffs (they also responsible for all takeaway dabao). Oh, did I also mention if you wanna dabao dimsum, you need to queue at the only queue for dimsum, take the basket, go to this Pao station and let them dabao? Tedious process.Chee cheong fun and porridges are on another side. I think they have a total of 4 stations.
Their business was pretty good (this is my first visit), a lot alot of customers when I was eating from 830am to 930am, and alot queueing too. The other good thing about this shop is - it's very near the...
Read moreThis was my 2nd time been here after few years. 1st time with family before went to Hadyai we stop by for breakfast.that time was really nice din sum with good service. Even they are crowded but they did serve you with friendly service & smiling face.that should be the boss I think. This time the same boss is there too but everything seem different. Eventhough he did serve you but not friendly nor smile at all. It could be too tired. They said someone will come to our table let us choose the dim sum but it too long to wait.1 of the young boy told us if we are hungry we can serve ourselves, take our own. This is not a big deal to us as previously the same procedure when they are crowded & on weekend. Today is Monday but still a lot of people. Very dissapointed with their dim sum, not yummy anymore except the "xiao long bao". We almost forgotten we had order this the 1st item we order but it came the last as we already done.we are full. It take about 1 hour to send us. I don't know what happen to them..due to this item came the last, totally forget...
