The owner is really kind and friendly.

Service was ok, slower than normal.

However the food was really below par. The Garlic Beef was bland. The Panang Pork was better, creamy, but lacked the proper flavor. Tom Yam was sweet. The shaved ice dessert was disappointing as well.

Additionally the price was surprisingly high for Ipoh. Overall the good thing here is the atmosphere which is nice and quiet. But other than that, was quite disappointing.

We have eaten in other Thai restaurants, both in Ipoh and other parts of Malaysia that were both cheaper and tastier.

The problem was not merely the price, but the taste as well. Frankly, we don't mind paying for good food, but to charge between Rm60-70 for 3 ala carte meals and drinks that were sub par was quite disappointing.

The person who brought me there had to apologize and say that the food used to be better but that standards appear to have dropped together with the change of menu. So please don't insult your customers, especially when the feedback was constructive in nature. Cheers.

Also, turns out the owner is not as nice as it appears. Johnny, another Thai restaurant in the area, serves much better Thai food for half the price. bad service and management. my family of 3 persons first time went there and ordered Set C (for 2-3 person) which consists of rice , 2 main dishes, 1 vege, tea and dessert. i ordered 2 bowl of rice first because afraid the rice portion is big. But when the rice was served, i notice it is quite small portion and i ask for 1 more bowl of rice (small). When the bill comes, they charged me for the bowl of rice. When i asked why they charge me for the bowl of rice, they said because i ordered 2 bowl of rice only upon ordering. When i add 1 more bowl, they will charge for the additional . i told them is not additional as we are suppose to get 3 bowl of rice for our set. just because we ordered 2 first, does not mean we forgo our rights for the other bowl of rice. I have no encounter such a stupid Management and staff. Will not go there anymore. Anyway food...

This restaurant is mostly loved by elder people. My parents recommend me there due to its very affordable price. To my surprise people coming in are mostly elders. Food are towards old style cooking. Less variety of food. Mostly are western set food such as chicken chop with mushroom soup, rice sets and fried noodle sets. It is a cosy place for old people to meet up (almost every table are seated by elder people). I can recommend this shops to people who like old taste kind of food. Parking can be hard to find as there is a bank next door. Night time are much better. Overall is a decent shop, don't have high hopes on fancy fancy...
