Was traveling to Ipoh during the kids school holiday. And there was a hype and saw a few tik tok videos recommending this shop and cake. Since I'm here in Ipoh might as well give it a try.
Took a short drive from our apartment using waze to direct us to this shop. The shop assistant was introducing us the range of cake they have and recommend us to try their seasonal cempedek cake cost RM36.
We decline her offer and took 3 of the cake to try which is around RM18 for one. Went back apartment to try this so called famous cake, first taste of the cake, it was below average and very dry to swallow.
The cake was not to my liking as it was very dry and hard to swallow. Taste wise also below average standard that I tried before.
Not recommended but if you still wan to try can always pop by and give this a try. To each his own. My taste bud might be a little hard to satisfied. 😂
