Mornington Hotel Medan Ipoh — Hotel in Perak

I have seen quad rooms of shophouse hotels and was preparing/warning my family that our hotel room at Ipoh will be much smaller than the one we just stayed in Melaka. Except, I was wrong.||||The room we had at Mornington (Deluxe Suite for 4 person at 40 sq m) felt so much more spacious than the room we had at Estadia Melaka (Deluxe Suite for 4 person at 62 sq m). Probably because Mornington uses white tiles so the room looks brighter. The room has kettle, small fridge, safe (a bit small, can't put laptop), Aik Cheong coffee sachets (as compared to Nescafe commonly found in other hotels in Malaysia) and full set of toiletries for 4 persons. There are also two air conditioning units, one above the beds and one above the sofa area. While there is only one bathroom for 4 persons in Mornington Deluxe Suite, the bathroom has a walk-in shower area plus a bathtub. ||||Checking in and out was fast. There was a RM50 deposit and they refunded the deposit once housekeeping clears the room. The hotel also has a big elevator (well, bigger than other shophouse elevators). STAFF PENCURI TIDAK LAYAK DIBERI MUKA!!! Check in 2/10/2023 room 112 mornington soon choon. Stop over for a night stay. Room are spacious. Cleanliness are acceptable. Upon check out, we received a call from hotel said we left things in the toilet. So i went up to check on it. I left shower bottle. So i took it and went down back and felt so nice for that kind of service. Unfortunately, after arrived at KL and unpacked my things i just realised my other 2 shower bottles ( lush & versace) was not here. The staff STEALED it and left me the cheapest bottle. I think she/he thought i didn’t notice about the others. No wonder when i went up the staff not there and just let the door open. I guess she/he didn’t want me to recognise his/her face.
