宝煲 Claypot Dining — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

The staffs are super lazy. They don't seem interested to serve you and speak so soft when you asked them for recommendation. Couldn't explain how or which side dish can enhance the selection of claypot rice.

Just a place to have a filling meal and leave. There is no comfortable seats for you to chill further.

The menu is in Mandarin so it can be challenging to certain ppl.

Food was so bad. The noodle was totally soggy and sticky (refer to photo). I requested for a recook but the noodle still turned out to be same soggy and the soup became very very starchy as they used the soup from the same bowl to recook.. such a let down in food taste. The staff was inexperienced too as they kept sending the wrong food to the wrong table. We wanted to pay cash but they neither have a cashier machine nor cash to pay us the balance.. ended up we had to use TnG. Overall, food, staff management, ambience were total disappointment. Genuinely suprised by this place. The classic claypot chicken rice is flavourful, the chicken is tender and well marinated, the rice is fluffy and cooked perfectly, and there's crispy rice at the bottom. The hamburg pot is also very good, it's well seasoned and juicy patty lathered with the yolk and sprinkled with bonito flakes makes a very unique and delicious dish. The pricing of the food here is very reasonable, the portion is good enough for 2 people to share a pot. It definitely didn't disappoint.
