小日子 Little Days Cafe - Nanyang Kopitiam (Sea Park Branch) — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

A few days ago, I went to this restaurant, and I was really unhappy with my experience. The food was just okay, and the portions were small. There was also an older lady there who had a very poor attitude. I wanted to order the taro rice, but she told me they had just run out and that it would take a long time to make more. I said I was willing to wait, but she insisted that I choose something else. So, I ordered the fried vermicelli instead, but the portion was so small it seemed like it was meant for a child. On top of that, she kept coming over and pretending to hurry us up, making us feel uncomfortable. We were aware that there were many people waiting outside, so we had already tried to eat as quickly as possible.

Later, when I got home, I found out that this restaurant had just recently opened, which explained why so many people were eager to try it out. However, given their poor service attitude and mediocre food, I suggest that anyone planning to visit this restaurant should think twice before going. Don’t waste your time. First time came here. Service bad, wanted to sit on one of the clean table.. but instead keep asking us to sit inside which is hot n stuffy. We asked to sit on the corner but ignoring us and ordered us to sit inside. Very rude aunty.

Tables too crowded, is like I'm eating in a canteen. No gap in between, dun have privacy and can't speak freely

Kopi tbh is nice, bihun is ok.. But the toast so small n charged expensive. For outside restaurant, this portion is really bad.. don't think is enough for one person, even my wife is small eater also find it too small. When asked, they said they compressed it, I was like is it joking or an excuse?

Fried chicken is nice at first. But is bit raw inside. Maybe just me, feel like got the blood smell. Sigh..

No one really cares on the customers demand.. and they just work for the sake of working. Pretty soulless to me. Dun really feel the warmth n welcome.

Spoon n fork are not cleaned properly.. sigh.. need to use tissues to clean it. Need one or two.. almost all like not clean n wipe. Got those water or stain.. be careful of it

Overall, not recommended. I believe there are better restaurant that...

The food is actually good and delivious, place is clean so all I give 5 star, but overall rating I give 3 star so the restaurant and future people that wants to tabao can be aware of 1 issue I faced. I ordered Lei Cha takeaway and requested no rice option. Usually for Lei Cha if customer opt for no rice option, the restaurant will substitute with more vegetables. However, when I went back home, what I receive was so disappointing. They just remove the rice from the Lei Cha, the portion of vegetables are so little and they charged me full price for the lei cha. The photo I attached is before I even eat, and it looks like the someone already ate my Lei Cha until almost finish (Thats how little they gave). Honestly the Lei Cha tasted very nice and will come back for it. But the portion when asked for Lei Cha without rice is too shockingly small and the staff at the restaurant did not tell us that they don't do substitution of rice with more vegetables. If they warn us about it, I would have been able to make an informed decision...
