Heard good things about this place from sister and decided to check it out by myself. First off, the ambience was cosy and they do have lunch time crowd, well-lit and seems like a good place to chill until you sit down on their uncomfortable chair. I have no complaints regarding their food and coffee though, friendly staffs, needed to change my coffee order from having it there to take away and the staffs helped immediately. I had their Beef steak sandwich which was very filling, i could only finish half of the portion. It had a little bit of waiting time though. The pastries look amah-zingggg... Sister bought the sea salt kouign-amann from here before and it was a delight. The croissant was flakey and crispy, almond croissant was delightful and sea salt kouign-amann is a must to get as it's layers of goodness that you can unroll and eat. The take away pastries were packed in a shoe box kinda package to ensure the safety of your pastries as you take them home. quite disappointed. this place attracted me at first because of their instagram page as it is full with pictures of fresh baked goods and a lot of choices. however, when i arrived, staffs weren't friendly, the lady's tone was quite harsh, like gonna scold us. they ran out of snow ice and smoothies when i visited, quite a bummer. most importantly, pastries choices weren't a lot too like how they advertised online. although they were refilling when i was there, it was still the same pastries without adding a new choice and most of them were just loaf breads which you can get anywhere. nothing special, nothing attracted me. hardly made myself ordered anything cause price is on the high side. two regular sized egg tarts for rm10.90? one cup of tea with just one tea bag and not even a pot is rm12.90? crazy, overrated. cakes were all rm15.90 and also very basic flavours like chocolate cake, carrot cake, cheesecake. not worth it. i expected so much from their instagram, so less pastries on their display, not...

Food : 4 star. Pastries and coffee were nice. Cakes were a bit too sweet though.

Portion : 3 star. Portions were not generous.

Ambience : 4 star. A rather simple set-up but cosy. The whole place was bright yet not hot. Aesthetic environment and clean, with air-con temperature at its optimum.

Service : 2 star. Sometimes short-handed and the waiters / waitresses were not attentive. Occasionally needed to wait for a long time just to make payment.

Price : 3 star. Prices were not cheap but at par with most other cafes offering the same type of food in the adjacent area. However, as a consolation, prices were all inclusive and no further service charge or government tax payable on top of the listed prices.

Location : 2 star. Situated at a rather obscure place. Not accessible by public transport and could only reach the restaurant by private car. Parking outside was limited and quite difficult to find under normal...
