Bamboo House Korean BBQ Restaurant — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

The staff is so rude. Always look annoyed to serve customer. Always smiling to serve girls, but if table of guys, they have very irritated attitude.. say thank you and smile and they respond with a blank non interested face. No humility in the workers. The other day I went with my brother and uncle was not there. When we called the worker to bring more pork meat, they main worker that handles bill payments when uncle is not there came to serve us and was so rude and tossed the meat on the bbq. And he was like "apa mau" while looking so irritated. And so I took charge and took my own prok meat of the plate and put it on the grill as I didn't want him to throw it again. It is very disrespectful to throw food. I was so humiliated and angry and wanted argue. But as uncle was not there and I am a regular to this place, I didn't want to spoil uncle's business. To uncle who owns it, please teach your workers that it's a buffet and we can eat as much as we want as long as we do not waste. Please teach your staff not to be rude. If they do not want to serve, make taking the meat as self service like the other vegetables and side dishes. Don't make your customers feel uncomfortable. You will loose more customer or a competitors with good customer service will run you out...

So I tried out Bamboo House Korean BBQ near SS15. First of all, let's get the pricing out of the way. So if you eat at lunch then it'll be 29rm/ person, if you eat for dinner then it'll be 32rm. Which to me is a very decent price range. Now one thing to notice is that they ONLY serve pork (pig meat) so if you CANNOT eat pork, then please don't go there. Also, this place is usually pretty crowded so you might need to reserve table first, or go very early, otherwise you'll have to wait a bit. Now that is out of the way, let's talk about the quality. Since this is a buffet (like a small one), you can eat how many you want, pork is served continously, you can ask for more when you're done. The side dishes like rice or kimchi are free refilled also. There is also free ice mineral water and ice cream section for dessert. The meat itself is amazingly flavored and very thick, even after you cut it, it will still be a mouthful. The taste is fantastic, if you're a meat lover. I really love the food at korean BBQ, its like you can refill a thousand times with only at RM32/pax for lunch time and RM35/pax for dinner time! The meat is quite fresh and they have 2 kinds of meat which is pork belly and pork cutlet(all the images are shown in my google profile, go check it out). And there are quite a lot of refillable side dish such as Kimchi, fresh vege, potato slice with carrot, korean pan cake, drinking water, garlic, mushroom, and onion. Basically this restaurant is like buffet style, just you cam add-on alcohol drinks if you want to(bare in mind they will be some charges on that ya) The ambient is just normal but the fols is very delicious and healthy, because I usually take a lot of vegetables in this place.
