I loved the rooms with karaoke, especially. We had a great session for our cousin's farewell here. However, the sound system for karaoke could be improved.
Considering the decent environment and standard of this China hot pot place, the sauce pricing of RM 6 per person is relatively cheap. It is commonly known that all China hot pot restaurants typically charge per head for sauces. The sauces are usually placed in an open area where customers can freely choose their desired sauces without the trouble and need to request from the menu. Since the sauce bar is accessible to everyone, it would be impractical for the restaurants to monitor customers taking their sauces or assign staff solely for that purpose. Therefore, it is understandable that China hot pot restaurants adopt the practice of charging per head for sauces as it is a practical approach considering the accessibility of the sauce bar.
This kind of decent China hot pot experience is incomparable to ordinary steamboat restaurants. Unlike steamboat restaurants that often offer limited sauce options, such as simple chili and sweet sauces, China hot pot restaurants provide a wider variety of sauces. The higher quality and diverse range of sauces offered at China hot pot restaurants contribute to a more elevated dining experience compared to the cheaper and low-cost alternatives found at typical steamboat restaurants.
We chose to dine here not only for the nice and beautiful environment with air conditioning but also for the excellent service and quality food. It's expected that such a great environment, good service, and quality food come at a higher price. Moreover, considering the variety of sauces and the option for unlimited refills, it is reasonable to expect an additional charge. As the saying goes, "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch."
I will definitely return to try their new...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs a huge fan of hotpot I could say this place did disappointed me in their service and management.
Food was decent 6/10, they have small and regular portion for ordering. Fresh and good quality for pork and cheese tofu I ordered
However they forcefully impose a compulsory charge of RM6 per head for everyone that comes in⦠for those that are not familiar with customer right, this is ILLEGAL.
Forcing any customers to pay for something/service that they did not wish upon is against customer rights.
It is a common practice in many Chinese restaurants and you can ask them to waive, if they do not, do report to the respective agency.
During my visit, I was very very unhappy about it, told the manager about it, she said itās for the sauce but I do not even need the sauce at all, but they insisted on charging me. Sure, I have got the receipt and Iām going to report them for this unreasonable practice.
Yes RM6 is very little, we can afford it but we do not grow money from the tree and either do you so do not take advantage of your customers in this way.
I hope those that read this review will learn something new today and resist against this type of restaurant practice at all costs.
Overall, I felt it is very unnecessary that for RM6 they will lose many other customers. Instead they should have focussed on providing better service, give more trainings and be more flexible in their āchargingā...
