Because industry veterans have taken over the management of Hangover, expect a change in the service and talent here. As usual you don't see many locals working in the service industry anymore. Bar was manned by a foreign boy and floor was stationed with Filipino waitresses. They have a kitchen that was firing out food throughout the time I was there. Had some anchovies and chicken popcorn. Not too shabby. Probably main courses weren't too bad as well. Saw some big platters being served. Different bands on everyday of the week so you're spoilt for choice. Happy Hours pricing were reasonable and on till 9pm. DJ Deeplyana had some classic retro tunes to match the vibes and threw in some video mixes as well. Band needs to interact more with the guests. Service was adequate on the weekday I was there, even though they had quite a good crowd.

The music is raw and loud which is a great thing so have realistic expectations about having conversations with friends here. Food was pretty good but expensive. The canned drinks are very expensive. I guess it's justified for the live music one gets to enjoy here.

Went there for the first time because the Strollers were having a reunion gig. Not the original members though but I saw Billy , Hussein who are friends from the old days in the 70sā€¦.1970 to be precise. They played some old songs which were nostalgic. I left almost at the end as they were playing some new songs with guest appearance. Was nice to see them play again. P.S if thereā€™s a photo of a restaurant it does not belong here.

Drinks are completely thrash. The tiger beer is watered-down to the point of pale yellow and barely can taste the tiger beer... owhh but they charge a premium price for tasteless beeršŸ˜…. The Guinness stout didn't have the stout identity(creaminess and all that) instead somehow it tasted weird. But the staff insisted that it's fresh from the barrel so maybe Guinness change their recipe la ahh?? šŸ¤­ However, they did change my drink to that pale tiger. I used to frequent this bar a few years back and it was quite good back then around the year 2021 but yea now standards have dropped. Food is so-so, ordered chick chop but not worth the price they charge. Again when I used to freq this bar back in 2021 I would have rated the food to be good and...

Went to Hangover for Liverpool vs crystal and had the most amazing time! Staff were all awesome, although we had no reservations and the place was packed with fans, they did their best to find a table for us! Unlike their neighbour who just shoved us off even though we had a reservation.... Beer promos were very worth it! Staff were very friendly and attentive. Really enjoyed myself thoroughly!!!
