BEST MAQLOUBA AND KUNAFA IN KL!!!

If you are craving a maqlouba or kunafa, this should be your only go to place!!

Superbly affordable! I’d say a really cheap price compared to any arab restaurant available in KL and Ive been to a lot!

I have dined in a couple of times, I have also eaten through catering orders made at a friend’s place and I’d say 10/10 would definitely recommend!!!

I have tried:

Chicken Maqlouba as well as Lamb Maqlouba

Really tasty. Huge portions! They prepared it well and look aesthetically pleasing too. I think the meal can be shared with 2 person. The soup that comes with it is really good, full of flavor and you can taste that it’s a lamb soup with clean finish. The rice is packed with spices flavors and so does the chicken or lamb. I have tried both. They have tons of sweet potatoes, potatoes and eggplants which is superbly delicious. The side salsa like sauce is indeed the best one I have tried!

Lamb Kebab The best kebab Ive tried and also really cheap!! Huge portions with a really tasty full of spices lamb cooked to perfection.

Cheese Kunafa This is hands down the best kunafa you could ever get in KL. Id have come many times for the kunafa!

Disclaimer: The restaurant is kinda small, so it’s totally understandable that it may not be as comfortable as some big restaurants chains, but with the price and the food, with personalized service. I’d say it feels like home! The chef and staff are superbly kind, they speak to you with grace and kindness. They apologize repeatedly to me today since we needed to wait for a while around (30 minutes) for our meal as they have received tons of orders. But for me Ive been there a lot so I kinda know. dishes are good and flavourful. chicken and lamb is always soft and tender to chew (have had both meats cooked grilled, haneeth, and in maqlouba). the best dish ive had here is the chicken maqlouba, but everything else we’ve tried is equally good and worth the money.

they have one of the best hummus ive ever tasted in the klang valley region. seriously i come here repeatedly mainly for the hummus. it tastes light and fluffy with the right thickness and consistency. also tastes clean/fresh with no aftertaste or smell. i suspect that the kitchen makes it fresh because its always the last dish to arrive at the table, but its so good that we always finish the hummus first. do check the menu online (on grab or easyeats) in advance as sometimes certain menu items will be out of stock for the day.

the staff is so nice, friendly, and hospitable :)) everytime we go the service is always 100%!

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and while placing the grab order, I noticed the delivery address was incorrect. Unable to change it, I frantically called the restaurant. By the second ring, a kind staff answered, quickly understood the issue, and reassured me that he would inform the rider. His warm Palestinian hospitality stood out as he kindly addressed me as “sister” throughout the conversation and promptly resolved the situation.
