Restoran Erawan Thai Mookata PJ — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

This new Thai Mookata restaurant is really good. Serve one of the best mookata you can find in Ara Damansara. The restaurant can be quite difficult to find, it's in an open area. The marinated chicken and pork are superd. The chilli sauce also one of the best.

They have 3 sets to choose from, start from $49.90 for set A which is for 2-3 person, set B for $59.90 for 4-5 persons and Set C @ $89.90. Each set will entitled for 3 time of glass noodle and kangkung refill. Be sure to try their tomyam soup which is an add on option for RM 5. This tomyam soup is by far the best I ever tried.

As for the atmosphere, the owner provide lots of fans for ventilation and keep the place cool. And there's also Thai music that keep playing in the background.

FREE ICE-CREAM! (though is just normal brand ice-cream) Accidentally found this in xhs and it is surprisingly good and cheap. Start with their 2 - 3 pax set (RM 50) and the portion is really just nice for 3 pax [ ps: you know how some restaurants say 2 - 3 pax but the portion is still little for 2 pax 🥲 ]. Their marinated black pepper chicken & lemongrass chicken was superb as well !

But Thai milktea tasted like just local milktea 😅 and suggest to just give fried garlic without the oil, as we BBQ-ing the meat and their oil will still flow back to the soup, but if we still add garlic oil into the soup, end up everything is soooo oily 🥲

Found this hidden gem mookata restaurant just opposite my house! Reasonable price set start from RM49.90 (for 2 to 3 pax), RM59.90 ( for 4 to 5 pax) and RM89.90 (with seafood) + free refill for Kangkung and glass noodle (up to 3 times). The serving size is really sufficient as per the description. Especially when I first came with my partner, we ordered RM49.90 and ended up we can't even refill because the dishes are really a lot.
