SIS & Co. — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

On the table is Grilled Pork Loin Chop (RM26) and Mushroom Aglio Olio (RM20). Located at Kayu Ara, Sis & Co is probably not the average fare of the area but I feel there is something about them that has lasted through their many years of business.

Let's start with the Mushroom Aglio Olio, taste wise, it's cooked well with good flavors and spice but value wise, it falls off the wagon. For RM20 funghi pasta, I think I would expect some bacon bits (extra charge) or some crunch to accompany but as the base pasta, it's on the expensive side.

The loin chop was actually good. Grilled with crunchy fat and a thick black pepper sauce. The taste was herby with Oregano to kill the pork game.

Sis & Co is located at Kg. sungai Kayu Ara (even though they like to say it's Taman SEA) where parking is ridiculous and non- existent.

Foods portion was little with such price. Food taste is ok and customer service still need to improve alots. Some of the staffs there was not really good or friendly and lacking of customer service. But the atmospheres there’s was pleasant and comfortable for dating and business chat. Food menu not many choices and prices abit pricy.

Limited of car parking space and not much parking space available especially at night is quiet dangerous for girls or woman walk alone because the outside parking areas and place was very dark and no lamp pole neither near to factories areas. Should install some lamp pole outside the parking areas.

However the appearance of the front restaurants was abit awfull becareful theres a glass store room in front to stored those junk items there’s make the appearance of the restaurant look very awful and...

Based on its food alone 3.5 to 4 stars, great ambiance, but the service......... Ayooooooo! That is the reason it only got 3 Stars. Sorry guys. Starting off the waitress could not make recomendations. A couple of the items we wanted on the menu were not available. It was 1pm guys. Come onnnnnn.

Service time took sooooooooo long. Mum got her meal as we were finishing ours. Thanks god we got some pigs in sarong ( worth it) n shared our meal with her. There were 5 to 10 minute intervals between each meal being served.

I was disappointed in the size of my bacon back ..........it did not even cover my mash potato n there wasn't even much to begin with. Side salad was basic.

At least the staff did not pretend not to see us when we tried to get their attention.

On the whole OK lah. Would I go...
