Was a regular at this store but they have a new tactic in charging you for an extra shot now.
Ask for a straw and instead of confirming with you that they heard right, they immediately charge you for an extra shot, on top of a straw. Exact same thing happened at the Bangsar Village 1 outlet on two different occassions, so this isn't an innocent mistake.
Starling staff offered to refund me for the extra shot I never ask for, after Ijat noticed the odd add-on request written on the cup and asked in surprise if I suddenly wanted my drink strong. Was nice of him to check, but I declined to waste anymore of my time there and left.
I've since ended my visits to both stores after the disrespectful incidents. Damn, that's how they treat regulars. Take your money to other coffee chains with better customer service and standards.

However, when I asked another staff member for a second cup of water, xxxx completely ignored me, despite me calling xxxx 2-3 times even though xxxx was right in front of me.
I'm willing to give xxxx the benefit of the doubt, assuming xxxx didn't hear me, although I find it hard to believe because xxxx turned around and asked another staff member what I wanted while I was standing in front of xxxx.
The crucial issue here is when xxxx finally took my cup and filled it with ice, xxxx put in an excessive amount and what xxxx does was that xxxx pour the excess ice back into its container and refill my cup with ice again.
It's important to note that the cup xxxx pour with excessive ice back into the container was actually the one with leftover water and ice from my previous use.
This situation raises concerns about hygiene and should be reported.
