It's a joy to run into a little spot like this, where the vibe is relaxed and everyone is having a good time, including the staff. Food is casual but deceptively so - it's actually quite good. No cash accepted - only credit cards and e-wallet payments accepted.

Bright & cheerful indoor (AC) seating as well as a few outdoor spots. An event area big enough to host a wedding (they actually were when I was there!) and still maintain their regular business, which is not exactly slow. Chairs and barstools for seating. Their menu is a good selection of food and drinks likely to satisfy most tastes without exhausting you flipping through a book of a menu.

Food options include roasted chicken, burgers, sandwiches, ricebowls, pasta, and crepes, to name a few major categories. A few desserts if you're still hungry, as well as a selection of cakes and baked goods you could probably order special in advance or purchase to take away or enjoy on site. A slim selection of starters/appetizers but the fried squid (cumi) with guacamole was very tasty. Very crisp-coated squid over a large base of guacamole that happened to be the best guacamole I've had in a long time here in Southeast Asia. Worth the visit just for that alone! Their SAT47 beef burger was delicious as well - smash-burger style full of flavor and not at all dry. Good variety of toppings without turning it into a soggy mess and the bun was up to the task of holding it all together until I finished. French fries were crisp and salted well enough, though I prefer mine thinner and with more salt! Their roasted chicken plates looked impressive and delicious. Criss-cross fries or half-a-dozen other side options. A single piece order included a full leg/thigh piece of chicken - one of the first Western-cut pieces of chicken I've seen in Southeast Asia in a long time! Next time I'll try that for sure.

Drink options are even more interesting. The ubiquitous coffee/tea/juice options are there, though mostly basic rather than fancy. The fancy drinks are a different category altogether! I tried the cinnamon carrot oat milk drink (iced). It was invigorating and satisfying. Sweet without being overly so, with a texture that was surprisingly smooth and without any pulp. Would happily enjoy that again if I can resist the temptation to try any of their other equally-intriguing drink combinations.

From the moment I stepped into the place until my departure the staff were uniformly friendly and responsive. Not in the tired, half-hearted way many servers respond because they're required to do so. I genuinely felt these folks were happy to have me at their restaurant, wanted me to enjoy my time in their establishment, and were happy to provide excellent service. Genuinely enjoyable. Attentive and responsive without being overbearing or annoying. And I saw them the same way with every other guest that entered.

You don't run across many places with the perfect storm of pleasantness from start to finish. This is one of them though, and if you're in the PJ area of KL I strongly encourage you to stop be and enjoy yourself and time spent...

Excellent food, even better service. It's one of the few cafés that is taking the covid-19 SOPs very seriously and strictly enforcing social distancing. Of course this means fewer tables and a longer wait time to be seated. No physical menus are provided but they have a QR code to access a digital copy at every table. They also encourage going cashless by providing at least 4 different e-wallet options in addition to accepting credit cards. Tables are thoroughly sanitized.

We came with our dog during peak hour so we had to wait for about an hour for an outdoor table to be vacant. Otherwise, the wait time is about 15 mins or so for the indoor tables. The queue was very well-managed and the staff were upfront with the wait time so kudos to the team. Do note that they limit the dining time to 1.5 hours per table during the weekend.

All staff members were very friendly, helpful and attentive without being prompted. They noticed that we had been waiting for a long time for a table so they offered us a single-seater table so that at least one of us could sit down and order food ahead. They noticed that I had my handbag on my lap and they instantly brought a stool over for me to place my bag on it. When we mentioned that we were sharing our mains, they brought us sharing plates without being prompted. Overall, really fantastic service and genuine hospitality that's very rare in KL.

The food was really good too and the wait time was reasonable. Tried both savoury and sweet crepes, and they were excellent. The buttermilk chicken crepe had a generous amount of fried chicken and stuffing while the chocolate crepe was rich without being too heavy.

We also tried their Surf n Turf burger in collaboration with MyBurgerLab and it tasted exactly like a MBL burger. The prawns were fresh and satisfying too.

Will definitely be back more often as it's one of the few dog friendly places in town that has excellent food...

My wife and I are vegetarians, and we love pasta. When we visited, we noticed there was only one vegetarian option on the menu (Aglio Olio). Since we didn’t want to order the same dish, we asked the front desk staff if another pasta dish—with tomato sauce and minced chicken —could be made vegetarian, as chicken was the only non-vegetarian ingredient. The staff member confirmed that it could be adjusted to make the dish vegetarian.

We were then seated at a table for two and attended to by a staff member named Aaron. Although we had already confirmed the dish can be made vegetarian with the front desk, Aaron took the extra step of checking with the chef himself. He wanted to ensure that the tomato sauce didn’t already contain minced chicken or other non-vegetarian ingredients.

After personally confirming with the chef, Aaron also pointed out that one of the dishes included a poached egg and also came back to ask whether we consume cheese, in case we were vegan. We really appreciated how attentive and thoughtful he was regarding our dietary preferences. He even mentioned that he had requested the chef to add extra mushrooms as a substitute for the chicken and egg.

What touched me even more was his attention to small details—he noticed that my wife had a handbag and that there wasn’t much space on the table, so he brought over an extra chair for her to place her handbag and other things.

The food was delicious, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. I truly wish I could give more than five stars for the service. A big thank you to Aaron for his outstanding hospitality, and to Strangers at 47 for having such thoughtful and...

First time trying this place solely from checking out Google map. We went for dinner on a public holiday and surprised to be seated without queuing. The tables were well spaced out but it can still get noisy. For our family of two adults, two kids, we had three mains and two sweet crepes. Strangers is fully cashless and do require us to scan for a menu. Customer service was quick and attentive but the wait for food was averagely 15 to 25 mins. Bear in mind they usually give max 90mins to dine in probably due to pandemic situation. Nice tasty korean chicken rice bowl, great chicken burger and pesto spaghetti. The banana crepe and apple crepe were excellent. I did not try their juices but we had hot chocolate and latte which although both looked nice with the design art, we have tried tastier hot drinks in cafes elsewhere in kl. We were happy with the portions but of course do expect cafe pricing. Daytime parking is a headache but nights are okay. Overall a clean, modern ambience though a bit noisy. Helpful, hospitable staff that will explain patiently and recommend items on their menu should you need help. Our second time there was lunch, not dinner. We couldnt book on weekends so needed to queue up and had to park our car quite some distance away. Tasty cajun chicken, salmon, burgers, lava cake and sandwich. Helpful staff but due to the crowd, forgotten small things like when we asked for chilli, ketchup or sugar. Tables are well spaced out but due to the echo from the walls, it isnt a quiet atmosphere. Items came with fresh ingredients and without tasting Msg. Hope to be back soon, S@47.
